The property is delightful. The location is amazing and the vista was breathtaking. The property was close to the venue of where we were participating in sport. It was quiet and homely. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book to stay there.

The only thing we didn't like was we weren't able to really enjoy the comfort of the place as we were in and out over the period of our stay. We should have stayed longer.

fantastic property for relaxing with friends and just taking in the lake views. very well equipped home with everything you need for a weekend away. also a great base for exploring the tablelands. yungaburra would have to be the one of the loveliest towns in Qld.

Location and facilities are excellent! Host knows how to cater for people's needs. Everything is provided for you.

The possum that visits early morning and scratches in the ceiling. Wakes us up at 2am!

Location and view was incredible

The property was well supplied considering how remote it's location is. It wasn't like any other holiday accommodation, it was really like home away from home. Cozy. Host was super helpful. There was so much extra, you don't normally expect. All the homely puppies, fast wifi, netflix, port wine, chocolates... Three toilets makes it really good for a bigger family or group. Washing machine is available. Well supplied to cook as well. And what a great location. Enjoyed watching the starry sky at night and both sunrise and sunset. Wish there was boats or kayaks to hire.

Beds are a bit squeaky and mattress too springy. But there are so much to compensate for that.

loved the location and being able to ski from back yard. Other family friends could stay in neighbouring caravan park and the pub arranged to pick them all up at the park which made for a easy birthday gathering.

The waterfront location and the comfort of the house esp the gazzebo for shade. The lawn games and board games were fun to use also (esp for the big kids).

The back deck with views overlooking the lake was a lovely place to hang out. The kitchen was well kitted out with equipment and some pantry staples.

The host describes the property as newly renovated. This was definitely not the case, the place was tired and dirty. The sheets smelt musty like they had been left in the washing machine too long wet, which was very unpleasant to sleep in. The kitchen drawers all smelt old and musty too, which made all the plates, mugs etc smell too. I was expecting a four - five-star property when I booked based on the description and images, it was no more than a three-star, which was assisted by the position by the lake, not the house itself. Another feature described on the listing was there was a restaurant on-site, but we couldn't find any trace of a restaurant. While this didn't bother me as we were happy to go into Yungaburra, it is a misrepresentation. All in all, we were very disappointed with the quality of the house.

A Beautiful house for a relaxing weekend away. Felt so serene with gorgeous lake and garden outlook. Host had made us feel at home with extras, chocolates, fruit etc. Would have loved to stay longer.

Beautiful in everyway! So well appointed, gorgeous garden and great amenity!!!

The only small thing... There were firelighter tablets in the same place as the dishwasher tablets... Someone had popped one into the dishwasher by mistake and all of the plates etc smelt of kerosene 😱 I placed them back into the laundry shelves so no one else accidentally does this!

This is a magnificent home away from home, with so much attention to detail and little things to make you feel welcome. The garden is an absolute joy, and the location is excellent for exploring the Tablelands. A perfect family holiday home as long as you can handle a spiral staircase between levels.

Having to leave!

Excellent family destination, just wanting to take a break from the city, it is a home away from home, stunning sunset from the back patio, great for ones who would like to take their boat or jet ski because you have your own private small pontoon
