The location is the best in Brela with outstanding views

The car parking is hard in this area. Also if there was a washing machine in the apartment that would have been good

The perfect location. Beautiful view with a few steps to the beach. Clean and spacious. Very friendly staff.

There was nothing to dislike.

Very spacious, clean and well appointed property. Excellent noise buffering windows/doors and light blocking shutters. Big terrace where both rooms open out to with great view of the Brac island, beach and the Biokovo mountain. Comfy pool chairs and a convenient drying rack for your swimsuits and beach towels. Additional seating space with table and chairs right outside the front door in the shade. We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the proximity to the beach as well as convenience of the nearby markets and restaurants.

This is NOT a major issue at all and certainly not an issue with only this property - stairs to the beach. Can be a bit much especially when you have a small baby with you or when in company of grandparents who are not as mobile in their golden years. Even the public access routes to the beach were steep steps only, no incline for a stroller, wagon or wheelchair.

The location is what you pay for! We wanted a place close to the beach because of the children so we booked these apartments. The view was amazing! And a few steps from the beach.

When we came, we went to the bathroom. There were no handsoap. There were no bathtowels, no hairdryer. When you rent apartments for 2500 euros for 7 days you have some expectations. Day three we got bathtowels but the owner stood and waited for us to find all the handtowels so we didn’t had any extra. It was like she thougt that we would steal those old towels. We left a deposition, 600 euros for those two apartments. I have traveled in Croatia for 20 years and I have never left so much money for a deposition in cash, no receip. We had to pay for cleaning, 40 euros. I have never experienced that eather. They wanted the full payment in euros and it took us a half day before we managed to change money from kunas to euros. Before we left they looked if we had smashed any dishes or something in the apartment. The owners weren’t guestfriendly, we had to ask for everything. So I cant recommend this place to anybody, there are better places in the area. This was the place avaiable close to the beach with short notice and I can see why.

Amazing location, just few stairs from the beach, sounds of waves 24/7 (if you want). Awesome terrace with terrific view. Hosts were a bit strict in the beginning (stressed by the previous guests?), but quickly turned to be very friendly and helpful. Overall great stay and we hope that we will return soon.

Wifi could be better (good signal, but not working from time to time). Bathroom was really small (although everything was working well in it). Terrace was big and comfortable, but other guests had to pass through it on the way to the beach (no big deal, but should have been noted).

We can definitely recommend Apartments Katica. We stayed 2 weeks end of September - early October, apartment was excellent, clean, well equiped, comfortable beds, quitet, just steps away from the beach and the harbour with restaurants, shops etc. Owners very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Will stay again if we decide to visit Brela again.
