Loved how clean the house felt over all. The beds were very comfy and loved the little bounce space and outdoor area to relax.

There was a full trash can in my room which made me feel like it wasn't cleaned but the rest of the room felt well tended too so I didn't think too much of it.

The staff (Isa & Marta) were fantastic. The small hike behind the property is so beautiful, it looks like a fantasy movie set

Breakfast was decent, but overpriced. TV didn’t work. No Netflix option. It was pretty warm when we were there, so maybe this is uncommon…it was really hot in the room. You could open windows, but there were no safety mechanisms. Essentially, you’d be opening up a window, on the ground level, that’s big enough for someone to step through.

You have to pay extra for every small thing like salt, pepper, oil, coffee or tea and the room was very small.

Beautiful property with the most stunning backdrop! Apartment is brand new and perfect for our family of 6. Restaurant has delicious breakfast and dinner.

I had to clean the kitchen or I can pay $73US for them to clean it. No big deal but this wasn’t disclosed upon booking.

The place is beautiful and the house we stayed in was very comfortable with fantastic bathrooms and a fabulous kitchen. Enjoyed the thermal pool.

Such a lack of information. Kept getting messages from Booking.com to check in before 6 and to book for breakfast or dinner. No staff at reception, no information at the house, phone number rang out. Eventually got a return text to say neither reception or restaurant were open until June. We had not brought any food to prepare. Found on-line that a restaurant down the road was open. Not sure if misinformation was from Booking.com or Lava resort but it does need to be sorted. I know other people staying there had the same problem. When you have driven for hours the last thing you need is to find out is the restaurant is closed.

Perhaps our favourite stay in Iceland. Originally, we accidentally bought the shared accommodation, but after speaking with the host on the day they were able to meet us and upgrade us. We arrived after 8pm (due to the roads) in the Winter period and were greeted by a receptionist who also allowed us to make a purchase from the restaurant to bring to the chalet. The chalet was great, nicely decorated with good sized rooms. The icing on the cake was watching the northern lights from the geothermal pool, which we had all to ourselves - we wont forget this experience! If this was picked up by an instagram influencer then this place would be hoarded! We didnt see much of the surroundings, due to the dark evenings/mornings, but seemed to be plenty to do across the farm, which had horses, she and lava fields
