The room was spatious and clean, the bathroom as well. The hotel is in a very nice location in the city centre. The bed was comfortable.

older apartment had a few quirks eg squeaky floor boards and an issue with the bathroom drain. the hosts were very responsive when we had an issue with the drain which was appreciated.

The staff were so accommodating and friendly! They went above and beyond to ensure you were taken care of. The apartment is close to everything you might need but quiet for the evenings. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

Large very comfortable, clean room! Quiet and within steps of all the sites and wonderful restaurants! Pay parking very close and easy to negotiate!! The staff were all A+!! Would love to return and stay longer!!

The room was perfect. Good size, very modern all in a historic building. Great location to view all the attractions in old town. We had a magical view of the castle from the window. Staff were super friendly and helpful giving alot of tips on the area.

Everything was great!

Everything! This is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed (and we have stayed in some exceptional places!). Gregor greets you with exceptional service, coffee, humour and a smile. The location is in the town center with amazing close unbelievable castle view. We had the 2 bedroom unit on the top floor (with views). Ljubljana is a lovely town; we wished we had longer. Gregor on arrival gives fantastic recommendations of local restaurants and sight seeing. We are now in Bled wishing we were still at Barbo Palace!

Absolutely nothing

The property was in a perfect central location and the property was clean and well presented. Concierge services were friendly and helpful.

Our one recommendation would be to have a mirror in each of the bedrooms.

Building is old so the rooms had such high ceilings and loved that, but still cosy and warm at night, kitchen was a big plus, shower was lovely. Location was perfect and reception were so helpful and always there to answer any questions

The staff was fantastic. Gregor and Nina were very helpful in providing the local sightseeing ideas and making dinner reservations for us. This place is a former palace. Rooms are huge and accommodations outstanding. Walking distance to the river and all the restaurants and bridges.
