The bed/pillows were very comfortable The outside terrace is huge with spectacular mountain views

Washing machine was not working. I was told I should have sent a message in advance to make sure it was in working order. She did offer to wash any clothes for me though. I could not open the front door to the apartment. She did try to fix it to make easier opening by using tape over the mechanism. It didn't really work. I usually had to get one of the family to open the door every time I went home. Some areas not very clean No sunbed cushions

1. We communicated with the owner for a transfer from the port. When we arrived, he wasn't there , we had to ask another hotel to call him to get us. There was a heat wave at the time. Waiting in the heat was not pleasant. 2. We made arrangements with the owners for a late check out and negotiated a price to stay later. They took the money and were fine with it. The following day, our friends came by to drop off their luggages and their child while they all went to the beach, there were only 3 of us in the apartment ( we booked the apartment for 5 people). The owners was not happy that someone else was in the apartment ( the child) sitting on the couch, came in screaming at us for allowing unauthorized guest in the room, while the child was just sitting peacefully on the couch. After they were done screaming at us , they slammed the door extremely hard. We did not feel safe at all. They also asked us to leave and told us that we were burning their electricity by sitting in the house with the ac blowing. It was 40 degrees celcius outside and going to the beach was not an option for some of us. Even when we were at the supermarket downstairs, someone related to the owner publicly shamed us in front of everyone for keeping the ac running. 3. The drain in the bathroom would back up every time the shower or toilet was used. We were smelling nasty sewer odor all day. 4. We suspect that they have cameras in the house as they knew every move we made.

Vlada met me and two other guests right at the ferry and her husband picked up our bags soon after. We were all given a warm welcome. The room was beautiful, with a gorgeous mountain view and everything needed. It was a very relaxing stay and I would highly recommend!

I was grateful for the air conditioning in the bedroom, but it was quite warm in the kitchen/ living area during the day (this was in late June), possibly because airflow was from the other direction rather than the one the room was facing - then again, really not terrible (I'm just not used to heat coming from San Francisco!).

Perfect for my stay as it had everything I needed to relax after a long day out and about

Zafeiris and Vlada are wonderful hosts. I was met at the ferry port and driven up to the apartment and given great advice on hiking trails, bus times and places to eat. The flat was clean, well equipped for the nights I cooked, spacious with a fabulous terrace and great views. WiFi was good throughout the stay and any queries I had were answered promptly.

The property is a winner. THe hosts are exceptionally kind and hospitable, and even met us at the ferry terminal (even though the property is only about 300 emtres away, it was a kind gesture and much appreciated). The apartment was huge - very spacious, with a lovely outside deck area and ample living space. The kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances worked. The internet was fast and the view of the surrounding mountains was a constant reminder of the peace and tranquility in this special island.
