Een super mooie kleinschalige locatie op steenworp afstand van diverse winefarms en restaurants. Wij verbleven een week in een mooi en stijlvol huisje. Doordat we met kleine kinderen waren was het fijn dat het zwembad bij ons niet voor de deur was. Er hangt een rustige sfeer en je hebt van niemand last. Communicatie met de host was ook erg fijn. We keren graag terug!

Die Unterkunft hat uns rundum hervorragend gefallen. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum, die Ausstattung ist clean und stylisch und trotzdem gemütlich. Das Bett ist hervorragend, den kleinen Pool auf der Terrasse haben wir genossen.
Fällt uns jetzt nichts ein.

Location, atmosphere and fit-out of the unit was maintained well. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Fantastisch appartement, schitterend gelegen in een wijngaard. De ontvangst was efficiënt en vriendelijk en het ligt perfect om te genieten van alles wat Franschhoek te bieden heeft. Perfecte verblijf!

Marron Cottage was a delight. It had all the necessary appliances and amenities and so much more. The shower was the best! EVER.
I loved every thing about the cottage.

It is a wonderful modern cottage and you can also stroll through the vineyards and garden or relax at the nice pool. One of the rare places which you do not want to leave for 24 hours. Very friendly service and communications.

I would expect the house to ahve view on the vineyards ( being on Franskhoek ) and not on trees - but it was nice

Charming cottage, very nicely equipped and quiet location next to a river. Working fireplace, water, coffee and milk stocked when we arrived. The pool is very close, otherwise two verandas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We very much loved the place!

La Chataigne wine farm has several wonderful cottages. We rented the two bedroom one, and a friend of us, the one bedroom one (Chestnut) which has an amazing view on a grapevine, and a nice splash pool.
A bigger beautiful pool for all the guests and a petanque field complete the perfect accommodation.
We were met by Issi, a exceptionally friendly, helpful and capable lady who responded promptly to all the messages I wrote to her beforehand.
The accommodation couldn't have been better, and I would love to come back one day!

Incredible setup, easy access and very modern room with all the essentials plus a few nice extras. Family owned with very helpful and polite staff. They made us feel very welcomed during our honeymoon

We stayed in the Noir room which has a pool and stunning views. The room is a nice size, modern and clean. The farm is small and so it feels private and peaceful. The main pool area is a nice vibe and the vegetable garden is cute.
Everything was good. My only issue is that it is self catering but the kitchen was lacking some basic supplies: for eg you can’t expect guests to also buy olive oil for a short stay.
