This was a self catering holiday. The location of the property was on the north west side of the island away from the tourist resorts and very quiet. There were a couple of restaurant's and grocery shop in the area with various opening times serving very delicious good food . A couple of local pubs and spar up the hill as well as a delicatessen serving pre cooked local dishes. The accommodation was first class, immaculately clean with everything you need. The pool area was again very clean and well laid out.If you want a quiet holiday then this is the place for you but you would need a car to travel about.

We had a few problems with the keys not being able to open the flat entrance door, then the swimming pool gate and the door to the flat.Veronica was a star in changing the key to the flat and showed us we had to pull the door slightly to gain entry. The outside accommodation door kept sticky all the time. The pool gate key got stuck in the gate and had to push it through from the other side. I do believe with the amount of people living there that keys get worn and fail to turn the tumblers in the lock. It was a bit of a shame the flat did not have a balcony to sit out on. Apart from that all ok.

The location was a bit away from tourist areas, so very quiet. Beatiful beach nearby. Most of the things were over expected criteria, WiFi was fast and high quality even for streaming. Lots of stuff for children in all ages, dvd-s, x-box, etc etc. Kitchen was good equipped, no need to go to buy elementary things (f.e. salt, oil, sugar or shampoo and soap) immediately. There was so much stuff, that somehow it felt even homy :) Car would be needed, if planned to see some other places too.

The living room sofa would really need to be replaced... :(

Apartment is located in a small town, not crowded by tourists. It is very close to a neat and beautiful local beach, 5 minutes by foot. The apartment itself is spacious and very clean. The host and welcoming were very friendly and warm. There were available for use all necessary appliances in the kitchen, washing machine, beach chairs, cable TV, excellent WIFI -- you could feel as at home. Community pool and its area were very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay!

Sound isolation in the building is not very good -- in the apartment there was noise heard from the common corridor and other apartments, that sometimes was annoying and disturbing. One of the beds in children room was creaking uncomfortably.

The location was good. The apartment was huge {for two people}. The swimming pool also excellent. Thanks for the fruit bowl on arrival, together with a couple of bottles of water. One special mention to Manuel, who explained everything to us about the apartment on arrival, and had already e-mailed us prior to arrival giving us information as to how to get to Puerto de Sardina. Great guy!
