A member of the waiting staff went out of her way to give us a lift to a museum that we wanted to visit. It was only a couple of minutes up the road, but with no transport, it was very much appreciated.

Although I had let them know we would be arriving late, there was no-one on reception and we trundled around the hotel looking for someone. Eventually were met by someone who gave us our key but no chance of any food.

The noise off the main road was a little bit much but it's not to bad .

I have already sent an email to the hotel with the issues but as of now they haven't responded.. The check in process was beyond a joke, overcharged at dinner, breakfast was terrible. I could go on and on to be honest. Such a disappointing stay as we were really looking forward to our night in this hotel and had hoped to make this an annual occurrence.

Room was too hot. Late check-in was problematic due to no reception staff and bar was busy. Breakfast buffet poor selection and quality. Breakfast was delayed due to kitchen problem.

There was plenty of free parking right below our hotel room window. We were going to the Bluegrass festival and really couldn't have asked for closer accommodation. The staff were so friendly and helpful, very welcoming. And true to their word, they ensured the Liverpool final was on in the bar (unfortunately couldn't ensure a win!).

Breakfast on our first morning was faultless, really great. Second morning they had a problem with the gas in the kitchen which meant there were unavoidable delays with service. It would have been easy to just say 'we can't offer a hot breakfast today' and limit things to continental only - but they were determined not to let anyone down. I have to say the staff did their very best in difficult circumstances, and are to be commended for their efforts. It was worth waiting for - lovely hot fresh food, cooked to order. Thank you.
