The apartment was spotless, and was clearly newly restored, and tastefully so. The bedroom was well insulated and away from the street, and thereby completely silent.

The apartment is a bit dark, since there are few and small windows.

Met owner's Mother at the property who gave us the keys and explained the features of the apartment etc.

There was nothing we didn't like; the heat was more than we had expected so great that we had air con!

The host,Giusy, was very friendly and helpful and even helped us with our luggage from where the car was parked to the flat, which was quite a walk away. She very generously provided a variety of breakfast items as well as a carton of almond milk, and there were also various condiments as well as tea, coffee, sugar, salt etc. On request, she provided any additional items which we needed, such as kitchen items, and as we had a long stay, provided clean sheets and towels for our use during our stay. As the flat looked out onto an internal courtyard it was very quiet and yet only a five minute walk from the wonderful Ortigia market. There were also 2 supermarkets within a few minutes walk from the flat.

Some of the kitchen equipment was not great and it was also disappointing not to be able to eat outside as the table on the terrace was just too small.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Mia. Very nice location, everything is within walking distance. On arrival, the host Guisi was waiting and her dad showed me where to park the car for free. The rooms are very clean and the kitchen offers everything you need, to cook or just make a tasty coffee with the Mocca machine. We would definitely go there again if we go to Ortigia again. If you want to drive to the accommodation be aware that the roads in Ortigia are narrow, don't drive there if you don't feel confident with that :-) The bigger and easy-to-drive road is only 3 min walk away. Thanks again for the welcoming and great place of our first 4 nights in Sicily.

What we liked the most was the amount of space it has, which is perfect for 3 or 4 people. It was clean and everything worked perfectly. It’s quiet and there’s a lot of privacy. The location also offers grocery shops in the area and several restaurants.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Ortigia. Very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, good kitchen. Easy walking distance to restaurants, market, supermarket, and sites in Ortigia; also close to bus for sites in Siracusa. Giusy and her family are great hosts.

Kitchen was lacking some equipment for cooking, bed sheets were a little rough.

The flat is spacious, clean and attractive. Everything we needed was available including quality toiletries, cleaning and washing products and coffee etc for breakfast. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Guisy and her family were really helpful and kind. They even gave us a lift to the station during a torrential storm! Thank you for a lovely stay - we will definitely return!

Everything was wonderful. A great location and great facilities. Highly recommend.
