Best position on the beach in the most private and relaxing area of Holbox. Nice staff and rooftop! Very Close to nice places for lunch and dinner on the beach.

Preis Leistung sind in keinem Fall gegeben. Hier trifft man auf kein 4 Sterne Hotel - max. 1/3 des Preises wert. - Rezeption ist maximal dreckig & schäbig; Außenbereich zugemüllt - Frühstück absolut mies (kaum Auswahl, Kaffee lauwarm&lasch, Fertigprodukte& plastikverpackung, Saft nur auf Nachfrage) - wäre alles akzeptabel, aber nicht bei dem Preis. - Einrichtung ist maximal in die Jahre gekommen, Wille zu Erhaltung nicht erkennbar. - man soll eine Kaution für die Einrichtung hinterlegen, lächerlich in Anbetracht dessen, dass Hängematte maximal kaputt war, Klodeckel fast abgefallen ist, Wasserhähne versifft und Handtücher & Bettlaken vergilbt und fleckig waren. Teuerste & schlechteste Unterkunft der Reise.

Hotel bom, quarto com muito espaço e igual às fotos. o Restaurante é bom. Finais de tarde muito bons, por do sol bonito. O pequeno-almoço incluido, era bom mas era limitado.

Não gostei do facto de ser um bocado longe do centro, estavamos dependentes de taxi (150pesos para o centro) O Espaço da praia tinha menus mas nunca vi lá ninguem a fazer pedidos. Não tinha net no meu quarto. O pequeno almoço não é buffet. Sem ser praia, não há muito mais para fazer

El desayuno estuvo bastante bueno y consistente

Habitaciones muy ruidosas sin privacidad. Pedimos un cambio de habitación pero nos ofrecieron la habitación de alado que daba los mismo, bajo costo querían ofrecernos una habitación en segundo piso.

Las instalaciones y áreas compartidas son cómodas y bonitas.

Es un poco difícil llegar , pero vale totalmente la pena ya que es muy tranquilo alrededor

Está hubicado un poco lejos del centro pero eso ayudó a que la playa fuera casi solo para nosotros aparte que la estaba muy limpio y no había sargazo cerca de esa zona... lo recomiendo ampliamente ya que al igual la alberca tiene una muy buena vista.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, beach a few steps from the hotel, good price (low season), and you can walk to Punta Cocos beach to see bioluminescence. The room was wonderful, I wish the hotel offered the option of a kitchenette (bc downtown is a little bit far). Has an amazing rooftop where you can enjoy the sunset and the sunrise. Great pool.

We liked the cozy nature of the room, it had a balcony, and it was perfect for our island trip.

It's a Holbox thing, but WiFi reception was poor, in addition, there were a few issues with the bathroom, and the safety box. However, those were quickly fixed. If you're looking for glamour, look somewhere else. In addition, after checking out, we had some time to wait before our pick up and decided to have a last lunch at the restaurant - we were charged a "restaurant use" fee despite having been at the hotel for 10 nights. Please be aware of this minor inconvenience and do not use the restaurant if you're not checked into the hotel if you wish to avoid this minor inconvenience.

We had a fabulous stay here, our ocean view room was spectacular, the staff attentive and the breakfast possibly the best we had in Yucatan. Perfect location right on the beach and a short 15 minute walk into town. we loved the bikes for hire too!

mini bar unstocked - not even a bottle of water on arrival. sometimes not enough towels (no hand towels on occasion) and they ran out of beach towels. staff unsure what we were “allowed” for breakfast for our B&B very costly rate!

The view from the room was amazing. The location was super peaceful.

The television didn't work.

The facilities are poor. They have way fewer sunbeds at the beach than the guests and on top of that the sunbeds are shared with the hotel next door. Same story with the rooftop. They have a happy hour between 17.00-19.00 where you pay 2x1 but you go to the rooftop and there is no space other than the breakfast tables because people just leave their towels same as for the sunbeds and disappear for hours. I asked the property about the policy on reservations and they told me that they do not accept reservations neither on the rooftop nor at the beach for the sunbeds. However, they allow this behaviour where if you are not putting an alarm on during your holidays at 7.00am to reserve a sunbed with your towel and then go back to bed, you are just a sucker that pays 700€ for nothing! Moving on to the rooms themselves, they are basic, the pillows are hard enough and the floor constantly dirty even with cleaning service. We had breakfast included but it was a joke basically where you get a bit of bread and fruits and coffee or tea and you can only choose one main dish as breakfast. For this rates we were expecting a buffet and to stop those that might thing that at an eco hotel they are against food waste blah blah blah that doesn’t stop them from serving you maple syrup for your pancakes in plastic containers instead of a glass jar. Generally speaking the location is good but please mind that there is ONGOING CONSTRUCTION around the area since it is developing a lot so it is not so peaceful during the day as you might have. expected. The centre of the island is 25 mins walking distance and there is also the option in the area to rent a bike. Mind that there are no asphalted roads on the island. To conclude, Hotel Spirit Holbox is not worth its money and if I could describe it in a sentence I would say it is an eco touristic tourist hippie trap.

The location and rooftop facilities were lovely. Our room was spacious and light.

The interior was rustic and tired for the price we paid. When the roof leaked into our room following a storm, the night reception left me halfway through the clean up to finish drying and making it safe to walk down the stairs and into the bathroom by myself. he disappeared so I had to mop up and find more towels to keep the floor from being slippery when we tried to use the bathroom. I refused the replacement room offered on the night as it was tiny compared to my duplex room. When I complained the next morning about being left to mop up the hotel room to make it safe, no action was taken. I just gave up.
