Excellent house, lovely owner who couldn't do enough to make our stay a enjoyable and happy experience, , with plenty of Information for places to visit / and eat out etc, and yummy fresh eggs from there chickens ,

Some excellent parts. Very well equipped with loads of cups, plates, etc. Most of the house is lovely but there is one glaring problem. The dining room is tiny with no windows. Tables and chairs crammed in. We could not all get in there to eat at the same time due to lack of space. If we had been prepared for this when we booked and accepted it then, it would have made a big difference. Only other place to eat was outside. This is not mentioned on the website No book about the house on arrival. We only found instructions for dishwasher. This resulted in us running out of hot water for showers when preparing for a wedding. There was no problem in having hot water we just did not have any instructions. Some areas needed attention. such as doors not closing and parasol broken. Although high chairs and cot nothing for children only books and dvd so need to take all that with you. We did enjoy our holiday and the house but don't expect to be able to linger and chat over a meal unless it is a sunny day.

The house is spacious and very well equipped, the kitchen especially. Nicely decorated and clean throughout. The hosts Marie and her husband were really friendly and welcoming. For being such a large group with a lot of different age children the house really worked well and the secure garden was a godsend to allow them to run and play free. We all would be more than happy to return.

We booked this property for a 70th birthday weekend away celebration and it was more than what we expected. On arrival, driving through the gates took out breathes away and even more so once we entered! A beautiful home, very well taken care of and perfect for our family celebration of 10 guests staying. Such a pleasure to wake up to stunning views from the beautifully decorated bedrooms and in such comfort too! The host Marie could not have been more accommodating or nicer to us! Prior to arriving, communication was amazing, thoroughly detailed and we received a very warm welcome after a long journey. Once there, Marie was always at the end of the phone if need be and was so kind in introducing us to her chickens, our 5 year old in particular was intrigued and the eggs were very much appreciated by all! There is so much to do here as we discovered even more so from the fantastic range of information that was displayed in the hallway. Worth a read! Thank you for a wonderful short stay which has created some fabulous life long memories!

Well, how to sum it up in a few words! This house is fabulous, I didn't want to leave. The space is immense and absolutely perfect for a family gathering. The host, Marie, is so welcoming and accommodating; even when various friends and family 'popped' by. Each of my guests in the house for the weekend thoroughly enjoyed their stay. It was just the perfect place to be for a family gathering; everything was available to use, and once the rain stopped most of my guests were on the patio (plenty of chairs) and lovely large outdoor table. Oh and fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden!! Marie, thank you so much for allowing us to check out a little later. Hope you continue to have success with your lovely business.
