That is an amazing place! Very intimate atmosphere but anytime you needed someone, you could find. Very basic breakfast but does the work. Cozy, clean rooms and fantastic interiors - kind of rural, castle-like but still fresh, not giving a feeling of being overfull. Amazing pool. Amazing wines with a possibility if wine tasting and visiting the cellar. We loved it there. Fantastic for a couple. Avignon easily reachable by car. The only thing we regretted that we could not stay longer due to our plans. Will fix this one next time. Thank you all at Gigognam and see you next time!!

Beautiful Château and wonderful location! We liked the size and the style of our room. Nice bathroom and gorgeous pool area. Very clean. Everything was like a fairytale…

There breakfast was just perfect to start off the day. They had our table set early in the morning with a typical continental breakfast. Then you can take your coffee and walk the vineyards after.

Amazing staff who looked after us on our tenth wedding anniversary especially Fatim. Beautiful place, great wines, beautiful chateau.

The property is very pretty although there was peeling wallpaper in our bathroom and an issue with flies at the breakfast tables but the setting and overall layout of the building was very quaint.

The property provide minimal staff coverage and none at all on Sundays. It would have been helpful to be warned just how closed everything is in the area on Sundays since we arrived with nobody to speak to we ended up driving around to find a supermarket where we could buy some food. The property provides towels for use at the pool but ours were not left out and with no staff around we had to use room towels which in turn meant our towels were still wet when we later wanted to use them after a shower etc. Also, the water in our room was not replaced on one of the days, again with no staff around after a certain time this meant wer had to forage the house to find water. Lastly, we stayed here on a trip that included stays at 6-7 other wine related properties in France. In all others there was some form of minibar or honesty bar to buy yourself a bottle of wine to enjoy in the evening after staff have left. Given the ready supply of wine at the Chateau it is a real shame they do not provide this kind of service. As mentioned, on the first day we arrived there was nobody to buy wine from but even on the second day we had to go to the shop where unfortunately they had sold out of rose which would have been great to enjoy by the pool. Overall the stay was a bit of a disappointment unfortunately.

A bar / restaurant would have been great so you wouldn’t have had to leave the château to eat .

the facilities and some staff

we arrived on a Thursday and there did not seem to be restaurants open on that day in Lorgues. The châteaux did not have restaurant/food facilities (apart from Breakfast). Had it not been for the evening market feast in the châteaux's grounds we would have had no food!

Lovely old working chateau/vineyard.

Nothing we didn’t like, but it would have been better if there had been tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Location, facility and staff were fantastic. Jenna was an incredible hostess, gave us a wonderful tour of the winery, was warm and friendly, knowledgable about the area. Beautiful Chateau, incredibly clean, lovely breakfast room with so much natural light and gorgeous scenery.
