Excellent value, good location, parking cheaper than anywhere else we stayed (5 euro per day as opposed to between 12 and 20 euro). Two separate bedrooms (single and double) which was most welcome. Bar and restaurant across the road, supermarket three minutes' walk away. Excellent washing machine, roomy apartment, sense of space.

There were really only two things, both relatively minor: a) The arrival was a little difficult: the email said to ring a certain number and the door would open automatically but neither my phone nor my wife's (using separate providers and SIMs from different countries) could actually ring that number. However, when we rang the host's own number, they buzzed us in immediately. b) The parking is excellent value (5 euro per day) but difficult to locate and the interior is a bit of a labyrinth as you search for the specific space you are supposed to use. These are minor quibbles, overall we were extremely happy with the accommodation.

The location was perfect.. in a great position for the main sights, the restaurants & bars, also the station. Everywhere was walkable. Good sized flat for 2 adults. Good facilities. Nicely decorated.

The apartment is really great for hot summer as it is long and narrow, tiled throughout and doesn't let in much light. In early January it was cold and rather dark and took a few days to get comfortably warm. A pity the owner was not there to let us in and explain how things worked. Some written instructions would have been helpful in the flat itself eg WiFi password, how cooker/oven/kettle worked.

The location was perfect. Close to the sights and waterfront. Easy walk to the cafes and bars. The apartment was very big and well equipped. Only 1 bathroom for the 4 of us but was okay for 2 nights.

It was immaculately clean, provided all the necessary equipment including two televisions and aircon units. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to all the sights.

The apartment was tired. Furnishings were very cheap and, although fit for purpose, we’re not welcoming or comfortable. For example, the bed creaked very loudly when either of us moved disturbing any attempt to sleep. The wardrobe door was broken, mainly because the wardrobe was flimsy and about the cheapest that money could buy. The two coffee tables were tiny and made of tin. The sofa only allowed you to sit in it for a short period before you had to get up. Basically the apartment was stark lacking any decoration that would have made it feel homely. To sum up, the apartment was functional at best. Finding the address was simple enough and the parking restrictions allowed for a 15 minute drop off - navigating to the garage was a different matter, particularly in light of the fact that it was literally 100 meters away but due to one way streets the resultant drive was difficult. The owners could perhaps provide a map of the easiest route to the garage to make that journey easier. We booked three nights but only stayed for two, the thought of another night in that bed was the deciding factor.
