A beautiful hotel with an artistic facade in a charming little town. The room was brand new and modern, very clean and comfortable. The host lady is very friendly and gave us wonderful breakfast with fresh pastries from the local bakery. It was such a relaxing stay and each morning we wake up with only birds singing.

I booked Km41 as a stopover on our journey from the South of France to the UK. This turned out to be one of the highlights of our holiday. Centrally situated in a lovely sleepy village, we were able to park right in front of KM41. Stylish bedroom with fabulous wall covering and a beautiful bathroom with large walk in shower and designer bath. We ate a tapas meal with a very nice wine all served by the host, who again with his personality adds to the charm. I can definitely recommend KM41 to all travellers.

Nothing to dislike

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms well equipped with lovely linen and towels. Modern and spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed. Coffee and breads served for breakfast (though don't expect this early). At night, they serve drinks and lovely snacks in the courtyard. It's a high-class establishment. The owners/managers are lovely. The town itself is impeccably pristine - like a picture postcard. Lovely walks. A perfect place for a relaxing, quiet getaway for a few nights.

The rooms lack some storage space (tiny, narrow cupboard only and nothing else). The reception, wine bar and pretty much the whole hotel shuts down at 10pm. After that you get access via the back courtyard (which is quite nice, but the only space to work or sit after hours). There is no coffee making facilities at all. There is no landline telephone in the rooms. The town, though beautiful, has nothing else to offer (one bakery which thankfully was open all the time; another bar which was closed all the time; and a tiny supermarket which was closed all the time (Easter)). If you want to eat out, you must drive to another town. Though this property was sold as a Loire Valley property on booking.com, it's really no-where near many of the attractions in this region. Chateaux Chambord & Orleans is closest at 1/2hr drive, but if you travel out to Blois/Ambois expect a minimum 1hr drive and Chenonceux/Chinon etc 1 1/2-2hrs drive.
