Excellent food! Beautiful location!

I liked everything

Breakfast was ok.... mostly cake... and I'm gluten intolerant but I ate fruit and some bland cheese. The coffee was nice. No idea what the staff were like as they were wearing masks making them impersonal. The room was large and the view outside to the trees was nice. It was fun watching the wild coats (a creature with a long fluffy tail) out on the deck. There was a massage and facial place next door which was really good but the hotel had nothing, not even a sauna or a steam room.

The water in the baths was not hot enough. There were three baths close to our room; one was full of cold water the entire time as we could not get the plug out, one had no light bulb (but ok as there was a small window) and the other, when I went in the morning, looked suspiciously like it had poop smeared in it. The whole thing felt more like a sanatorium for TB patients due partly to the absurd mask wearing, but that's not the hotel's fault. The dinner was chips and fried fish cakes/balls and pink plastic looking ham. and tons of cake.... only a little lettuce and tomato and no other vegetables. The tap in our bathroom was plastic and moved around so you had to hold it with both hands, the sink was actually in the shower and the furniture was an odd collection of old stuff you might pick up on the side of the road and the fridge was old and rusty.
