considering the price I must say that breakfast was substandard. Tasty coffee.. ok but soggy breakfastrolls and 3d class cold cuts.

We could do check-in earlier. 20 minute walk to the city centre.

The location isn't the best. View from the window of petrol station and main central station.

Reception was quick to apologise and refund my stay.

No reception at night, so when I arrived and had a problem, there was no one available to assist me. I found lots of hairs in and around the bed, and the floors didn’t look very clean. The towels were a bit grey, like they were old. The location felt a bit unsafe. Bed was extremely uncomfortable.

The breakfast was reasonable

This hotel was too expensive for a typical minimum-service hotel in a small town (I paid less for a Holiday Inn Express room next to the main railway station in Leipzig). It is located behind (i.e. not the city centre side) the station and, unless you are coming by car, requires a walk through a long, seedy tunnel that closes at 8 pm in a decrepit area of the town. When arriving you need to fill out an on-line form, and pay the entire bill, while standing outside with all your luggage, before you are left in. The bed is comfortable, but the room as a whole is minimally furnished and spartan.
