The staff was amazing and felt like family. One night they even cooked pizzas for the whole hostel as a surprise! I booked for 4 nights but ended up staying for 12. A great location right on the north beach, where you can stargaze while drinking a beer. There is a free but basic breakfast, which helps a lot with costs in a town where everything is so expensive. Highly recommended, and I hope to come back!
The power charging situation here is not the best. I would recommend bringing some fully charged power packs.

The proximity to the beach.
Now i write this after staying in a few hostels before: The rooms were 2 small for comfort, and just 2 washrooms shared between almost 12 folks. Maybe it was my hard luck that they were occupied everytime i had to go

Location
I understand the place is kept undeveloped but what could be the reason for keeping bathroom doors with locks not working. And why would you not give any power points to charge phones? The rooms get dirty quickly and nobody would clean it. The room door itself had no lock. You just leave the room trusting no one would come to steal your stuff. It's pathetic to keep the place so mismanaged. No blankets. Pathetic pillows.
