Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Man kommt mit den anderen Nutzer:innen in Kontakt durch ein gemeinsam genutzten Wohn- und Küchenbereich. Die Küchenausstattung ist inklusive der Lebensmittel frei ganztägig zugänglich und man bereitet sein Frühstück selber zu. Danielle - die Gastgeberin - ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und bringt eine wunderbare Stimmung in die Unterkunft. Die Lage in einem nicht touristisch erschlossenen kleinem Ort mit einer kleinen Bar in der nur Locals verkehren ist wirklich besonders auf einer solch touristisch erschlossenen Insel. Wir haben uns hier bestens aufgehoben gefühlt und unseren ruhiger Aufenthalt mehr als genossen!

Lovely, peaceful stay in a lovely setting.

We stayed here 3 nights in December 2023 and it was so peaceful. A great place to unwind. Dani a lovely host and so helpful. Breakfast was supplied. Car parking space was available. We would come back to Alma Libre again. Its a great place to unwind and watch the world go by.

Good location. With a car almost everything you need on the island is reachable within 15-40 minutes. Very friendly host , who can also give yoga classes per request. The house has everything you need. Including basics from breakfast.

Everything was perfect. Price quality relation is fair. We were anyways spending time outside of the hostel. And as a tip : you do need a car , not only for reaching the hostel but in general to feel comfortable on the island

La cocina y zonas comunes no estaban muy limpias. El desayuno no tenía variedad.

La vue est splendide, la maison a du charme, elle est bien équipée, la suite tres spacieuse et sdb privative.

Formalités du check-in uniquement par internet et très rébarbatif, ne pas oublier une virgule ainsi que des numéros de catégorie de pièces d'identité inexistants chez nous. Aucun contact physique avec notre hôte sur l'ensemble du séjour.

Absolutely calm, peaceful and clean

I really like the location of Alma Libre, it was perfect to go around all over the island and the surroundings were beautiful and relaxing. Dani answered promptly to my requests and since I'm lactose intolerant she bought soya milk and yogurt for breakfast. I had the "junior suite" and the room is very big and light. The view on the valley is stunning.

Unfortunately large parts of the structure were not clean, I found out hair in my room and generally the common areas were not cleaned since a lot of time. Breakfast is not as shown in pictures but it is completely self service with cheap products. The outside garden is abandoned, there's no care at all.

Room was quite dirty, floor had dust and hair all over. One of the towels given had spots of toothpaste from someone else, which I think it is unacceptable. Plus breakfast is self service, meaning there is food in the fridge for you to take (also not great quality food). Kitchen was really dirty, before using any supply we washed everything. It was really not inviting to have food there. On the outdoor space things are randomly placed, the hammock in the picture on booking is broken and still left there. Things are very different from how they look in the pictures of booking.com. Plus our room had no window on the outside but only a small one which opened on the corridor of the house so both mornings were woken up by the noise made by other guests. I am sorry but I really would not recommend this guest house. I think the owner should pay more attention to cleaning.

Lovely place. Quiet. Peaceful. The wind chimes. Easy, free parking. Cosy and comfy. Two nice restaurants in the town. The breakfast = excellent range and quality.

We really loved our stay in Alma Libre House, it's a colourful and friendly place with all the amenities and also very close to some of the top sights in Lanzarote. The surrounding area is very quiet and perfect to sleep restfully at night! The breakfast has many options, which we really appreciated too. We will definitely come back in our next trip to Lanzarote!

The whole house is beautifully set in its surroundings, overlooking the valley with hills and volcanoes. The garden is very nice and calming. There is enough parking space just in front of the entrance to the garden. We stayed in the junior suite with terrace. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The bathroom is private, not shared. There is even a kettle with tea options in the room. The view from the terrace is amazing, worth renting this unit. The bed was a bit small for two tall people and you could see it's already a bit old and worn down, but nothing dramatic. There is another bed in the room, single one, so you can always manage with it if the double bed is too small for you (but it probably won't be, we are not small people and we managed on the double bed). Breakfast is self-service, you'll find ham, cheese, eggs, butter, jam, cereals, granola, milk and its alternatives, croissants.. simple and tasty. The kitchen is shared with other guests, there are shared kitchen compartments and shared food, as well as private boxes in the fridge, for each room one box, so you can buy your own food if you want and put it there. There are even separate bins for recycling. All in all, we would recommend this place and would stay here again.

Some parts of the kitchen haven't been properly cleaned for a while. It didn't bother us, but for hygienic and esthetic reasons it would be good to clean it and get rid of the old grease. Since everyone in the house is using the kitchen, it depends a lot on other guests how tidy or messy the kitchen is. Maybe it should be pointed out on a sign that everyone has to wash their dishes and clean after themselves because some guests obviously think that someone will do that for them.

The location, which has a great view over a valley with volcanoes on either side. The relaxed atmosphere of the place, the silence, the simplicity. It is a no-frills place with just what you need quieten your brain slow down. I absolutely loved it.

This was a great choice for accomodation. We stayed here in May for 7 days, no need to change location as the island is small. Situated outside of the resorts, quite place with beautiful views from the garden, where we could enjoy our breakfast (lot of options to choose from). Daniela was great, we were texting on whatsapp, she was replying fast. We could even do our laundry at this place. Wi-Fi signal was great, enough space for parking in front of the house. You can prepare our own meal, enough space in the fridge.

Doors on bathroom were sometimes hard to open.

You feel like being at home. A great place to be. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Recommendation!

Me and my friend really appreciated the location, so quiet and peaceful. The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable, we literally fall asleep in seconds. Also the breakfast included was a bonus for this b&b. Lovely the host overall
