The perfect place for a short stay and route stopover. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all necessary amenities and our host very kindly gave us use of the gas cooker in the large braii kitchen due to electrical load shedding. We loved looking around the main house which had lots of history, charm and was fascinatingly decorated, whilst the wandering ducks in the garden were an added bonus!

We stayed in an outside building. Not the main building as presented in the pictures. Could not close a window and it was cold. There was no hot water. On the road and suspicious people walked by and we heard trucks all night.

The location was good.
The smell of stale cigarette smoke in the accommodation! And the fake flowers, and plastic covers on the furniture.

Charming old house, quiet part of town. Batteries and inverter keep the lights on during loadshedding.
Duvets instead of blankets would be nice, esp in winter.

The decor was really beautiful. Something to marvel at, really different and unique.

A Spacious Room filled with Antiques and special little touches throughout.
The National Energy provider could've given us an interrupted electricity supply but that was no fault of Oude Pastorie.

Room was dingy and seemed to not have been used in months. Although it was quirky and cute it needed a paint job and things needed to be cleaned as things were grimey. Bedding was clean.

The cottage was amazing, very comfortable and clean. The garden is beautiful and very relaxing to walk around in. Staff very helpful and friendly. It was everything I could have asked for and more. Loved it!

Old style comfort and charm. Convenient half-way stop between Cape and KZN.

Bright lights in the garden. Didn't know where to switch them off.

Nevele, was very helpful, room very private.
When the internet was off (Telkom problem) I couldn't get hold of the lady in charge, the same the morning I wanted to leave.

Had a back room 4 lighting outside was not enough The loose mats on the kitchen floor potential for tripping
