The door was opened for us, before we came, due to late arrival. We were able to enter the property without any issues and settle in

Airflow in the property. Due to now windows in the bedroom that can be opened. The bedrooms stay warm, although outside it was cool.

Location, close to the beach, bus stop( 3mn walk) plenty of cafes and restaurants near by. Appartment is just like the pictures...gorgeous and in a super quiet location. Had electricity cout off due to a storm, Leo was out the next day to sort it out.

Nothing negative to say...or maybe a 2nd bathroom would have been a plus as the appartment sleeps 6.

The location was incredible! Less than a minute walk to the beach. The landlords were very responsive and accommodating. Parking was free, even if it was a slight walk from the residence. The place was far larger than I expected and was furnished with everything you could need for an extended stay. Clean towels and linen, all the daily cookware you’d need, it truly was set up for success.

This is a highly rated location for families, however, I want to caution that with small children (We have a 3 and a 1 year old), it can be challenging as there are very nice items and furniture made of glass everywhere. This is only a downside for our family as it made it challenging to ensure everything was okay. Also the shower, while great water pressure, sprayed far too much water all over the bathroom floor. We tried both shower heads at multiple angles, and it still got all over the bathroom floor. Finally, as this apartment is underground, there were minimal windows that provided air flow, so it was very hot in the apartment during the day. They did have fans that helped, but just be aware that it will be hot in the warmer weather.

Location is great. Right in the midddle. Great that there is free parking with the rent. Rooms very spacious and clean. Kitchen had the necessary. Nice spacious laundry room and the play room was a great bonus.

It’s very dark because it’s in basement. Only living area had natural light but with bad weather all lights have to be on. Sofa very small if you stay there with 4. Two seater so not very comfortable. Also quite noisy. Some neighbours were partying after 3 am and you can hear all details in living room. The communication was poor. I tried to get in touch with the owner for some time and even after phone call with Booking.com I had no idea about parking or key handover. On arrival day finally got a call from someone. It didn’t make us feel welcome at all. In the end it was sorted and ok but if there is a holiday planned from owner then please arrange a backup phone number or email.

Everything is new, clean and fashionable

- All bedrooms are dark in souterrain, only two with upper windows which are difficult to open and very noisy towards the street - no air circulation, 23-24 degrees in bedrooms although outside whole week was 13-15oC. Cannot imagine to stay in real summer - shower doesn’t have a door or curtain, leaving you with wet bathroom all day - the whole apartment is in souterrain. Although the location is great (direct behind boulevard), for over 350 Euro per night you can find much nicer (family) rooms in the 4 and 5 star hotels directly with view at beach including breakfast in the same area. A much better deal to consider.

The property was beautiful and fully stocked with linens, blow dryer and kitchen wares, even a washer and dryer with lots of supplies. There was a fabulous bakery and grocery store a 2 min walk down the road. The property was across the street from the beach. We had our one and a half year old in tow. There was a fun little park on the beach and a soft play play area at the Hansel and Gretyl restaurant nearby. We traveled all over the Netherlands from the property. Leiden was a 20 min Drive, Katwijk, a darling coastal town a 10 minute drive, Haarlem 30 minutes, Amsterdam 45, and Utrecht 50 minutes. The owner was warm, kind and easy going. The property also had a foosball table and a ping pong table!
