The stay with Duc and his family was indescribably beautiful. We had a relatively foggy start to the first day, but as soon as the sky cleared, you could enjoy this beautiful place. It's an idyll, you can hardly get enough of it and just feel comfortable. The food was great, the room beautiful and clean! For anyone who loves nature and peace, this place is indispensable. We would 100% recommend it to everyone! Duc can help you with all your concerns, whether you need a taxi to Sapa or tips for tours. It was a blast staying there. Thank you very much

For all those who take the night train from Hanoi to get to Sapa and arrive at 6am, you should be aware that you can't check in much earlier than 2pm. However, you can pass the waiting time wonderfully, eat something delicious, enjoy the view, lie by the pool or anything else.

We didn't enjoy Sapa as we expected but this accomodation was a really good one. The owner could speak good English and the communication was very smooth. All staff there were quite friendly. The food was authentic and reasonably priced. We arrived very early and the owner had kindly offered us early checking after the cleaning was finished. The dogs are very cute too. The view in Sapa was quite meh but this place gives you a cozy feeling.

Not a lot. We stayed in a bungalow that shares a thin wall with the room next doors. We could hear the conversation when they arrived at 12am at night. I guess that's like a typical issue in this kind of accomodation.

Fantastiskt vackert med en oförglömlig utsikt. Personalen gick alltid att nå och de var mycket hjälpsamma. Enkel tillgång till mat, dricka, tvätt och taxi ifall man ville.

Det ligger lite avlägset men vi hyrde en moped och då blev det bara en vacker väg till d&d!

Outside Sapa center, it allows for a big bowl of fresh air from the business of the town, to relax and rest at your own pace. Lots of hikes and and paths start from the property so that you can take in the extraordinary views of the mountains. Owners are really friendly and helpful.

La ubicación ya que ves los campos de arroz ple namente. Las cabañas bien equipadas y nuevas y los que gestionan el Homestay súper amables con todo, nos ayudaron en muchas cosas. Desayuno por la mañana enfrente de los campos de arroz, una gozada.

Que al no estar en el centro de Sapa tienes que ir y volver en taxi todo el rato pero es mejor que cualquier hostal/hotel del centro de sapa porque ves el esplendor de los campos de arroz.

The surroundings and the garden are beautiful. The garden has a lot of places to seat and enjoy the view. The room is nicely decorated. There’s 5 wonderful dogs walking around the property and in 3 days I heard them barking just once. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature of Sapa. Breakfast and meals are very tasty.

They really need to improve the shower water system. Or is too cold or suddenly is too hot.

La ubicación es perfecta, entre campos de arroz. El personal excelente, nos ayudaron con todo. Tuvimos un problema previo y pedimos atrasar la estancia, después conseguimos volver a la reserva inicial. Duc, el responsable nos pudo arreglar todos los cambios y además nos dio mucha información de la zona y de las posibles excursiones a realizar.

El único problema fue la época de año en la que fuimos a Sapa, pues los campos de arroz ni están verdes, ni amarillos. En noviembre están segados y encharcados. Aun así el paisaje es muy hermoso, pudimos hacer una excursión con una guía local hasta una cascada donde nos bañamos. Imagino que en verano, será impresionante, aunque también habrán muchos más turistas.

Das Homestay befindet sich etwas außerhalb von Sapa mit Blick auf die Reisfelder und Gebirge, perfekt um zu entspannen. Wanderungen direkt vom Homestay möglich. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön mit all den Blumen und Pflanzen. Der Pool und die Hängematten laden zum relaxen ein. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – lokale Küche mit viel Geschmack. Der Gastgeber Duc hat immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und hat uns sehr geholfen bei der An- und Weiterreise und war immer erreichbar. Am letzten Tag mussten wir sehr früh los, Duc hat uns ein Taxi organisiert und sogar eine Tüte mit Frühstück vorbeireitet. Duc, sein Vater und sein Team waren äußerst hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und immer gut drauf. Unser Bungalow war groß, komfortabel und sauber. Unser Aufenthalt hätte nicht besser sein können. Wir können dieses Homestay aus ganzen Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Sapa fue nuestro último destino en Vietnam y queríamos hospedarnos en un lugar alejado de la ciudad, D&D Eco Sapa fue el lugar perfecto. La comida estaba muy rica y la piscina y las vistas a los arrozales y la montaña eran espectaculares. El personal muy amable, Duc nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos, taxis a la ciudad de Sapa, excursiones de trekking…muy recomendable!

Ubicación en un entorno totalmente idílico a escasos minutos en moto de los principales atractivos de la zona y en un lugar muy tranquilo para desconectar. El alojamiento cuenta con una zona de comedor/sala de estar, donde te reciben y donde sirven todas las comidas que quieras contratar (desayuno, cena..); nuestra habitación contaba con unas preciosas vistas al valle, sin duda era perfecta!! El desayuno es a la carta y todo elaborado por ellos, una delicia; igual con el resto de comidas, nosotros cenamos las dos noches que estuvimos allí y todo estaba riquísimo y a un precio súper asequible! Lo mejor de todo el personal que trabaja allí, empezando por su responsable, DucN, quien ya está pendiente de todo para ayudarte desde antes de tu llegada! Son todos encantadores y te hacen sentir como si estuvieses en tu casa! Te facilitan muchísima información de excursiones, rutas de trekking, alquiler de moto… no tienes que preocuparte por nada! Muchísimas gracias por haber hecho que nuestra estancia sea inolvidable!!

Tolle Lage, direkt in den Bergen und abseits des Trubels von Sapa. Die Kommunikation mit dem Host war super. Er organisiert Touren und Weiterfahrten ganz unkompliziert und ist total bemüht. In der Unterkunft gibt es einen Pool und generell eine groß Außenanlage mit einem schönen Blick in die Berge. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es gibt auch vegetarische Gerichte.

Excellent stay. We had an amazing view from our bungalow (location out of Sapa centrum). Good facilities with access to clean swimming pool. Next to it, we have eaten so delicious homemade food prepared by stuff. The owner itself was so helpful and arranged for us even transport. Thank you for your hospitality.

There is nothing to complain about. We would definitely come back and recommend to other travellers.

Once planning a trip to Sa Pa, one should understand that Sa Pa is a big city, and most of the time, the view from the hotel will be limited, to see the rice fields, one should go with the car or moto to Muong Hoa district. To avoid this you can live in Muong Hoa and enjoy the rice fields view from your window!!! Isn't that great? This is what D&D stay is all about. It is brand new, the recent bungalows were built less than a few months ago. It has a very big common area with a swimming pool and rest places. The food is great and the home lord is very helpful: he can help to arrange hiking, transportation and everything you need! I trull recommend to rent a bike (only about 5 dollars a day) and discover beautiful surroundings.

You should remember that the place is about 30 mins from Sa Pa city center. The taxi will cost around 8 dollars one way, so the best option would be to rent a bike for 5 dollars a day. I suggest always having an official taxi with a taximeter on it, otherwise, you could be scammed.

Wonderful views and a sweet balcony area with a swimming pool below. The building itself was a well-decorated lodge that was rustic, beautiful, and reflected the local culture. The small army of dogs was also a hilarious plus. The best thing, however, were the owners and staff - incredibly friendly and helpful.

The location isn't really walkable from the town of Sapa, which is slightly disappointing. Also, all of the walks that you can do into the surrounding towns will simply get you swarmed by local villagers wanting some money from you. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but it is frustrating.

Die perfekte Unterkunft, ein Traum zum Entspannen und Runterkommen:) toller Ausblick und alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Hier kann man durchaus ein paar Tage bleiben 🥰 die Gastgeber sind mega nett und hilfsbereit!

We loved everything about this place. The view was amazing, our room was lovely very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was yummy too. We didn’t want to leave and missed the place instantly

Perfectly located slightly away from the commercial Sapa city. The host Duc is a gem, kind and so helpful and his thoughtfully made place is very comfortable. The food here is excellent. His father and the dogs are so friendly and cute. Would recommend this place 10/10!

Wonderful place, they truly made it a home while offering all the luxuries and amenities you might want. Room was clean, as well as the swimming pool and all the lounge and diner areas. Diner was delicious. View is even prettier than in the photos. Duc our host was super helpful with transfers and booking a trekking. We arrived two hours early from our night bus, but after sending a message through WhatsApp he arranged for our transfer to be there within 10 minutes regardless of the early hour (5.30am). He speaks English very well which makes it easy to arrange exactly what you are looking for.

I visited d&d Eco Sapa with my family for two nights, and we enjoyed it so much that we stayed another night. The rooms were very spacious, clean and decorated in a special and beautiful way. The hosts welcomed us with joy, and were very nice throughout the stay. The pool was clean and beautiful and the children really enjoyed swimming in it. We had three dinners there. The food was excellent! Fresh, homemade and very tasty. Above all this is the amazing view. One of the most fun places we've been in Vietnam. Thank you, I hope we can come back here again.

nothing. depends on what your preference is but we found it to be much better than our stay in Sapa town. it’s a bit of a drive out of town but easily manageable with taxi, scooter or motorcycle
