Recently had three excellent nights at Ruddles Retreat. Was very easy to find and very tranquil location. My little one had a great time exploring the grounds and the child-gate for the upstairs was much appreciated. We had an issue pop up and Stuart was extremely responsive and went above and beyond in looking to resolve it. Would definitely look to stay here again next time I'm in Maleny.

Great location. Quiet area but a short drive to nearby town which could cater to all our needs.

Location was excellent. The raised deck was huge and offered an unspoilt view. Kitchen amenities were great including a breadmaker!!

I am sorry, but I slept in the downstairs bedroom and to help out I stripped the sheets off the bed when I was leaving. The mattress protector and the duvet were both stained and dirty. I was surprised but maybe the owner is not aware of this. That is the only thing I could fault.

A lovely property with 360 degree views of the countryside. The fireplaces and farmhouse feel made for a serene weekend.

the mattress on the queen bed upstairs was a little uncomfortable. Heating in kitchen area would be good as it gets cold in winter.

The quiet location and beautiful views were the highlights. The thoughtful supply of Hot Cross Buns ,Easter Eggs and hìdden Maltesers were a nice surprise. The Retreat was well appointed and spotlessly clean. As we had a toddler with us the baby gate at the top of the stairs was a bonus!

Due to the generational make up of our group one adult had sole occupancy of the queen bedroom which left 3 adults sharing a room. The third single bed being a trundle was not very comfortable. It would however be suitable for a chiĺd.

The location was excellent, 5 minute drive from centre of Maleny. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. Will recommend to others to stay there.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Beautiful country house. Verandahs. Glass house. Sunrises and sunsets. Close to Montville for shopping and restaurants. Kenilworth was 40 minutes away for Beautiful cheeses.

This is as our first time back at Ruddles Retreat since 2012 having been there a couple of times before. The setting is rural with friendly cows next door, beautiful bird life, beautiful views, sunrises and sunsets, and gardens. The house is large and very comfortable. In winter the fireplace is priceless and mesmerising. The special touches of fresh fruit, milk and jube’s were special.

The front verandah rails are falling apart and need attention. We were very keen to bake bread in the bread maker and it’s lovely that the ingredients are there - but they were out of code so we didn’t make our bread.

Absolutely everything, the pure bliss of views from every windows, the extra conveniences provided by the hosts, sitting on the balconies and watching the birds and cows walk by, beautiful gardens for the kids and dog to play. Sooo relaxing... loved it.

Lovely loungeroom with great fireplace and lots of timber. Beautiful decks to catch morning and afternoon sun with amazing views. Nice touches like fresh flowers, fruit and comfortable beds. Outdoor shower overlooking beautiful gardens.

The oven was a little rustic, bathroom blind difficult to close, dishwasher didn't clean items on the top shelf

Absolutely stunning place to refresh. Really close to the beautiful cafe and shopping strip. Gorgeous part of the world.

Lovely, comfortable, house with a beautiful garden in a convenient location. Very Considerate hosts and a pet friendly environment.

Some (understandably) seldom used equipment/utensils and areas lacked regular attention and so were unclean/looked in need of attention. Examples are the some kitchen equipment, higher shelves in cupboards. Didn't lessen our enjoyment and our stay.

Terrific home for a group of 4 women. Very peaceful but close enough to town if you wanted to eat out. Host obviously takes pride in ensuring our comfort.

Some guests thought the single beds were a tad hard.
