The space was modest but roomy and beautifully appointed.

The windows were a little hard to wind open, and the blinds were tricky to use.

location was great, a lovely walk from the house into town, around 20 minutes

should have been some milk provided, but other than that all good

Great accomodation, modern, clean and in a quiet street. Close walk to the shops and restaurants. Comfy beds. Good space for the family to be together for meals and also to chill separately (across the 2 apartments). Jen was a great host accomodating request for the sofa bed (which was ready on arrival) and helping with local horse-riding.

It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Only a short drive or walk into woodend.

We did find the stove struggled to heat up to cook our bacon and eggs so they were a bit of a flop. Maybe it was us!!

It was quiet, clean and central. There are stairs to the top floor which I was made aware of before my stay. Jen is a fabulous host and her eye for detail is fabulous. Loved my stay here & will be back!

There was no milk provided, so bring your own :) It wasn't an issue for me.

The town of Woodend is delightful! We had not stayed there previously but we were thrilled to see so many great restaurants and places to visit.

enjoyed making use of the big kitchen space. the couch in the living room and the bed were both incredibly comfortable. location was perfect for morning walks to the town centre.

a bit problematic for light sleepers as you can hear the footsteps from the neighbours upstairs as well as the trains that pass through the town.

The lounge and kitchen area was spacious and comfortable with all we needed. As it was quite cold it was good that the heating worked well and we enjoyed the addition of the wood heater as it made it feel cosy. We were only there for two nights but it would have been excellent for a longer stay. The grounds were pretty and it was close enough to walk in to town to eat out. The bed was good, large and comfortable. We never met the owners so we can't really comment on them. They did communicate by email and organized our entry early into the apartment which we appreciated.

There were some minor things that need upgrading. The heater part of the heater/ light in the bathroom didn't work. One light in the bedroom had a blown globe. The surrounds of the shower are showing age and wear and mould. If you are paying over $200 a night you expect these things to be better maintained. The wood outside the door for the heater needs to be under some cover as it got wet. There needs to be some instructions for the use of the tv as it was unclear whether we could log into our own subscription for Netflix. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the accommodation but these small details do need fixing.

Very spacious apartment with modern facilities. Full cooking facilities with all that you would need for a longer stay. It is within walking distance to the main town of woodend with walking paths all the way. Very comfortable.

The property is close to a trail line and on a semi main road. It is easy to get to but there is a fair bit of traffic on the road and trains coming past. It wasn't as quite as I would have liked but it is in a town after all.

It was in a prime location, 6 mins drive to a wedding destination (Mount Macedon Winery) and within walking distance to the Main Street of shops. It was peaceful not much noise, cosy and had everything we needed. The bed and couch was super comfy and loved that we had Netflix to watch :)

The room layout was fantastic, the amenities were perfect, Jen the host was fabulous in her communication, location great, everything perfect. Wood fired heater a real bonus.

Nothing really. A spare extension lead might have been handy as I needed to plug in my Cpap machine but that's pretty trivial.
