Good location with parking
This pub should and could be a gem but the rooms are tired. We have stayed in five different pubs on our tour of Cornwall and the others were lovely and I have reviewed as such. Here the shower wasn’t working, neither was the tv and the pillows stunk of sweat. ( surely they could check before a 3pm check in).
The barman had no idea how to pull a pint of real ale and said he hadn’t been trained.
We got the impression the place does very well without having to try.

Breakfast was just OK but if it was supposed to be a Continental breakfast then cheese and ham would have been nice
The main disappointment this year having stayed here numerous times over the past 40 years was the kitchen being closed!
Had I known this at the time of booking I wouldn't have booked.
As there's a no cancellation policy and only finding out after I booked, I was disappointed as the food was excellent last March and so wanted my fiancée to experience it.
I will ring up in advance before booking in December in future.
Apart from that little whinge, I will return :)

Location was excellent with an easy walk down to the very picturesque harbour - a must do!! Room comfortable with good amenities. Old Pub with great atmosphere but food average. Staff tried to be really helpful. Overall a very memorable stay in unique Polperro.
On arrival there was no one at reception & it took someone to check us into our room which was pre-paid.

Idea location at the start of the town, so you didn’t need to drive down the very narrow main street. Had its own car park that was easy to get into.
Had to leave my room and go through a small hallway to my ensuite.

Room was Clean and comfortable! Had a request to check in early and they did their best to accommodate which I can’t thank enough! Shame it was a fleeting visit, would’ve liked to have stayed longer.

Room was not really clean. Blood stains on the sheets upon arrival. Stains in the carpet. Very old room full of spider webs.

The location was very good. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Simple, good pub food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the old world charm of the pub.
We loved our stay at the Crumplehorn Inn.
We would recommend that anyone with mobility issues should request a room with easy access as our room was up two flights of external stairs .

In a good location to explore Polperro. Was great to have car parking. Room was comfy for a short stay. Pub had great atmosphere and staff were really nice.
For an old building it was perfectly fine.

Great location to explore the town. Room was separated from the pub so no noise apart from the seagulls! Room was spacious and perfect for our needs. Will be back!

Great location for Porpello. The staff are all amazing. The bar staff and the chefs all fabulous. I can’t recommend enough

Nice pub. Stayed in a small apartment overlooking the front. 5-10 min walk from the village, harbour and beach. Beautiful place for a short stay. Fab for food and drinks.

The staff were friendly and all very helpful. The fooms were comfortable and clean. Great location. Great food and a good choice for the continental breakfast.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would have liked a cooked breakfast choice, but it would not stop me from staying again

lovely old pub in at the top of Polperro so easy 10 minute walk to the pubs and restaurants
Rooms are a little dated, were freshly painted but the paint smell was off putting. Showers were not very powerful. Unfortunately had little staff. Bar shut early.

The Crumplehorn Inn looks lovely from the outside, the staff were very friendly, free parking space is very handy. Great location for walking into Polperro.
The room is dated and smelled musty as soon as we walked in.
The continental breakfast was very basic.
Unfortunately the kitchen was closed during our stay due to staffing.
I really wanted to love our stay here but I just didn’t feel it was worth the money!

It was dusty, the room was damp as was the bedding. . Breakfast was cereal, toast or croissants. Very dated room and cold
