Camera pulita, letto comodo.

The location
After our first night they made us move to another property. We had an agreement to meet at 8am to do so as we had a trip that was already booked. However, we waited more than 20 minutes and no one showed up for the breakfast and the moving. This is why we had to go to have a coffee outside. Upon our return the guy running the property wasn’t really polite and tried to make us feel bad that we left without moving despite the fact that we had two nights booked in the property and despite the fact that he didn’t show up on the agreed time. The second place was cold and we only had 3 plugs in our room. 1 of which was broken, and the other behind the pillow of my girlfriend. In other words we only had 1 available plug for so many different devices.
The breakfast was good and the rest of the staff extremely polite

Very unpleasant experience. Two ours before arrival they told us our accommodation is not available (after we contacted them), and that they will accommodate us in another apartment. That would be ok, but we checked Riad Sheryn on booking and saw the location is not so good as this one, and the price was 5 euros less. When we came, they didn't even say sorry, and also they made us pay an extra 4 euros. When we said we already owerpayed the room, the owner told us he will cancel our booking if we don't pay. Also, the accommodation is average. Cold room, the bed is not very comfortable, there is no terace,
the room is not clean
To sum up, I would not recomend it.

De locatie was perfect ! .

The ladies working there were very nice and tried their best ro accommodate us.
The room and bathroom were lovely!
The location is right next to the blue door, a bit difficult to find the first time as you have to go through the hotel to get into the backstreets to get to the riad, but after the first time you're grand.
The breakfast is very good too, it includes tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, toasts, butter, jam, eggs...
We were offered a tour by the guy who received us, 200dr for 5 hours, which was very good.
The shower doesn't have a curtain, which makes it quire difficult to shower without spilling water all over the bathroom.
On the first day as soon as we were received we needed to decide straight away if I wanted a tour or not. I was also insisted on having dinner over the days with them. We decided to have dinner the last day just go give it a go as they said it was very good price: good for them. The food was good, but no more than any other restaurant we went to and we were charged 150dr per menu, which was way more than we have paid any other day/night for menus is restaurants nearby.

It's located in the best possible place, right in front of the medina gate where all the fun happens. Ahmed, the care taker of the riad, is super nice, friendly and helpful. He goes out of his way to help you and to make you feel welcome and to make it your home away from home. The ladies who prepare breakfast and make up your room are also very nice. Place is clean and nicely decorated with great terrace in a quiet location with stores, restaurants and exchange office right around the corner.
Room is a bit small with no storage space for bags or even your clothes and there is bad smell from the drainage in the bathroom.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING Riad!
We liked it so much that we decided to extend our stay one more night.
We would recommend this place 100%!!
-Super clean 🫧
-Super nice décoration in the room 🛖
-Super nice location of the Riad (next to the blue gate, easy to find instead of getting lost in the Medina) 📌
-Super nice breakfast (on the beautiful terrasse if you can) 🍳
-The ladies of the house are the cutest, they will make you feel at home 👯
10/10 on everything!!
If you are coming to Fes, you should not miss this Riad!
Nothing!! Everything was so nice.

This Riad is exceptional. Stunning inside, good size room, peaceful and super friendly staff. The location was perfect for us, close to the Medina and easy access to local shops. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and all done with a smile. I was travelling with my 11 year old son who is autistic and an extremely fussy eater. It was never an issue to get hot water for his noodles and they were so accommodating for which I was deeply grateful. We arranged a half day guide and would highly recommend this as the perfect way to see the 9th century Medina.
Thank you so much for everything
There was not a single thing we could fault

It really close to the Medina!
Host was very pushy. He tried to reorganize my plans so he could sell me expensive guided tours. The tour he sold me was overpriced (compared to the people i did the exact tour with).
The house was noisy and the bathroom smelly.
Dinner was expensive and contrary to the application a pastry which you get from the baker. Maybe it was because I was alone.
2.0
Close proximity to blue gate and Medina.
Nice artisan work on doors etc.
Host very disrespectful and pushy. We arrived very tired and late but he insisted on sitting us down and lecturing us for 45 mins and tried to reorganize our plans so he could sell us expensive guided tours of places we didn't want to see. Dinner at the Riad was about double the price of the going rate in nearby restaurants, and then at checkout the quoted price had been increased further. Fortunately, this Riad was not representative of our other experiences of Moroccan hospitality.

If you are looking for an authentic Moroccan experience, look no further than this beautiful riad in the heart of Fez. From the moment you step through the doors, you are transported to a world of enchantment and beauty.
The riad is beautifully decorated with traditional Moroccan architecture, including stunning arches, intricate tile work, and colorful textiles.
The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, beautiful linens, and traditional Moroccan furnishings. The bathrooms are clean, with plenty of hot water and luxurious toiletries.
But what really sets this riad apart is the exceptional service. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From arranging transportation to recommending the best local restaurants and sights, they are always on hand to assist with anything you need.
And let's not forget the food! The breakfast is a delicious feast of fresh fruits, pastries, and local specialties, and the dinners are a true culinary delight, with traditional Moroccan dishes prepared with the freshest local ingredients.
But perhaps the best part of staying at this riad is the location. Situated in the heart of the Medina, it is just steps away from the bustling souks and colorful markets, where you can immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of Morocco.
In short, if you are looking for a truly authentic Moroccan experience, this riad is the perfect choice. From the beautiful decor and comfortable accommodations, to the exceptional service and delicious food, every aspect of your stay is sure to be a memorable one. Highly recommended!

Very good location, just outside old medina, so transportation was not a problem, at the same the place is quiet and peaceful, with nice view from the roof tarace, very nice decor, very clean, good wifi, very nice female staff, great food for breakfast and for dinner (dinner additionally ordered), the manager made it possible for us to check in very early.

Great location (easy to find as well sign posted), generous breakfast on terrace with stunning views, very helpful and friendly staff. Tradiitional Moroccan meal served on terrace in the evening

What a beautiful place! My room, on the ground floor, was absolutely lovely, the aircon worked as a heater so all good! the Riad itself was amazing, such a nice building with excellent workmanship in evidence. Rooftop breakfast area had good views over the rooftops, and breakfast was excellent. Dinner was very good too, the kofta meatballs were excellent! Staff were all really friendly and nice, the owner an interesting man who speaks good English (and other languages!). Overall, a massively recommended place, very close to the Bab Boujloud gate.
FInding it was hard, and I am good at finding places like this! it's not where Google maps says it is, but deeper into the narrow lanes - pass the Hotel Jardin, look for signs on the walls, it's down the alleyway to the right and has no number! But it's worth the effort...

Friendly and helpful staff. Everything worked smoothly. Totally worth of money.

The host was very kind with me. The room was absolutely nice, the bathroom's nice as well. The position is just outside of the blue gate, the entrance of Medina. The breakfast places on the roof, very nice view and good food.

This small riad is quite conveniently located near one of the entrance door of the Medina, in a small blind alley.
It is very near to the parking lot of Bou Jeloud, so you actually don’t need a rented cart for bags if you park there (about 50 dirham for two whole days).
Pay attention that nobody is at the riad normally, so it is better to stay in touch with the owner not to face a closed door when you arrive (even though when we passed by the owner’s house, he stepped out by himself).
We had the suite at the first floor, quite confortable with the bathroom shared by the two rooms placed on both sides of the bathroom. Decent furnishing in the bathroom and in the rooms.
You can get the entrance door key, so you can get back from your dinner anytime.
Breakfast (on the roof) is wonderful. We also had an enjoyable dinner at the riad where you may have a bottle of wine as well (and the Moroccan wine may be unexpected in quality).
The owner is very friendly and ready to help in any possible way, and all the hotel staff too.
Not the most luxurious spot, but definitely a good choice. With some renovation, a four star mark would be deserved.
Not that much space to place dresses or luggage content.

location is fine. Breakfast is ok. Close to the Medina and the view from rooftop is quite good.
the water basin in the bathroom is a nightmare. incredibly slow sinking speed renders the water basin filling up very fast, forcing me to carefully calculate my time for tooth brushing and face washing to prevent the water from getting out. Toilet is also bad with its water plug stuck every two to three times of flushing, if you are lucky like me you will be forced to reposition the toilet water plug every time after use, and guess what would happen if you had an emergency and forgot to do that before use?
The owner of the property are very hardworking, and at the same time I believe, a tiny bit greedy as to suggesting me to do some incredibly costly but supposedly “wonderful” travel plan (with his own agency of course). Also recommending me to have dinner in this place, claiming it to be the best in Morocco, to which I politely refused. What is quite irritating is that I happened to be a tiny bit ill at the end of my stay there and the owner of the property reprimanded me that I should have paid and taken dinner in his place instead so that I wouldn’t be food poisoned. I highly doubt it was the case and even if it was, I doubt his food would make it any better.

The manager, Ahmed, was always helpful and on hand. The very good cook and her daughters were an excellent team. There is a wonderful roof terrace. The rooms and en suites were beautifully tiled and decorated, with shutters, and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The Dar and neighbourhood was very quiet during our stay - it’s well located, just out Bab Bubajoul, main entrance into the medina. the signposting to the Dar is spot on!
Nothing. The only thing to be aware of, depending on your age and fitness, is the rather steep steps up to each floor - it would feel safer if some sort of hand rail or rope was provided. We were 68 and 70 yr olds.

I couldn’t ask for a better place.
This place was wonderful!
Even the breakfast was excellent.
I suggest you also to have dinner on the terrace. There are 2 girls cooking and it was the best couscous
Thanks again

Very nice and helpful staff. Perfect location only 200 meters away from direct entrance of Medina. Quiet with a very nice roof terrasse. Rooms are good with AC. Breakfast very good.
no inner courtyard to use. But this was not important. Fès has so much to see and the terrace has a great view at all.
