Gorgeous Oak & Cedar House 1/2 Block from Manzanita Beach!
MCA # 1271. Il nostro posto è un'affascinante casa sulla spiaggia con molte caratteristiche in legno: pavimenti in rovere, pannelli in pino e soffitti della cattedrale in cedro con lucernari. Ci sono due ponti privati separati da un gazebo con una grande spa / vasca idromassaggio che può ospitare comodamente sei persone. Il ponte laterale ha mobili da giardino e una nuova griglia perfetta per il barbecue.
La camera da letto principale, privata, ha soffitti alti e un nuovo letto king size con materassi e lenzuola nuovi ed eccellenti e un bagno completo (esterno) adiacente. La seconda e la terza camera da letto si trovano sul lato opposto della grande sala / sala da pranzo, facilitando la condivisione della casa tra due famiglie. La seconda camera ha un letto matrimoniale con un materasso inglese (e bagno interno) e la terza camera ha un letto estraibile (due letti singoli) ciascuno con un materasso molto comodo. Sia la seconda che la terza camera si affacciano sulla foresta.
La casa si trova all'estremità sud di Manzanita, una tranquilla città residenziale con alcuni ottimi ristoranti e negozi. Siamo a solo mezzo isolato da una delle spiagge appartate più spettacolari della costa nord dell'Oregon. È delimitato da un lato dal monte Neahakanie e dall'altro da un parco statale. La spiaggia termina in uno sputo e nella baia di Neahkannie che crea un paesaggio acquatico completamente diverso rispetto al potente Oceano Pacifico. Sulla baia, molto più tranquilla, si trovano gabbie, osservazione delle foche e kayak.
La casa si trova a 15 minuti a piedi (spiaggia o strada) dalla città di Manzanita, che oggigiorno è molto frequentata dal pubblico. Nel 2005, c'erano articoli su Sunset e Coastal Living su questa dolce e divertente città.

Wow! I was really impressed by this beach property. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make all of our own meals in the kitchen or on the gas bbq. We used the hot tub every day and it was a great way to relax after playing on the beach. The beach was about 1000 feet away across the dunes and is my favorite beach in Oregon. The property was dog friendly and fenced so our 3 dogs loved it too. Not advertised, but the bathrooms had toto bidets which we also loved. Manzanita town was about a 3 minute drive, 15 minute walk. I would definitely come back. here.

The beach is right there with downtown and the state park close by, beds are comfortable, hot tub is great, neighborhood is quiet plus ..... TWO dog dishes on the deck to keep dogs happy. This will be our Manzanita go-to!

We LOVED this house. My four year old had a blast reading books and doing puzzles that were provided. We were so cozy and loved the close walk to the beach. The pictures don’t do this house justice. Stay here, you’ll love it.

The property was small and cozy, and fully loaded with excellent kitchen appliances, pots,pans,everything necessary to cook a great meal in! The hot tub and deck are private and protected from the wind (and very clean)The beds were very comfortable and had quality bedding as well. We loved the easy walk to the beach, and 5 min drive to town. Great place for our family to be together in!

Our stay was delightful! The house is charming and was the perfect size for us. I was a little worried about how small the kitchen looked online, but it was very well-stocked, and the knives were even sharp, which seems like a rarity in most vacation rentals. Super easy access to the beach, and the only thing that could have made our stay better is if this house was right on the beach!

Feels like you're stepping into your family beach cabin when you arrive. The place was clean with loads of supplies and a great layout for a family or two couples (bedrooms on opposite sides of the house). The hot tub with pergola was incredible and there's plenty of firewood for the wood stove. There's also a tv that we never turned on, but isn't in the listing. It's a bit dark in the dining area, so bring tea-light and votive candles. The primary bed is very comfortable (a bit soft) and the bedding was cozy and warm. Thanks so much!

Our family had a wonderful extended stay at this comfy beach house. Great variety of games, beach toys, beach towels, and beach chairs provided.
There is a private fenced deck with hot tub as well. We had all the supplies we needed for a great stay. Our, cleaner/manager was very kind to us as well. Heaven on earth. P.S our dog loved it too

We had an amazing stay at this property. It’s so close to the beach and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. We brought some of our own kitchen items because you never know what a place will have but this place had everything we needed. 20 min walk to Manzanita is so nice if you take the beach. This house felt like a family vacation home. The smell of clean cedar, nestled among the trees, quiet neighborhood and short short walk to the beach. I really appreciated the fenced back yard for my dog. So easy to open the door and not have to worry. The yard is small and easy to clean up after my dog. The hot tub with the Edison lights felt like a pocket of relaxation. Really enjoyed this home, this location, the tranquility. I’ve stayed at different homes via Vrbo over the past 15 years, and this is one of my favorites. It’s so homey, I couldn’t help but chill.

We spent our Thanksgiving here and has a lovely stay. The house is well appointed and the master bed was super comfy. It is a short walk to the beautiful beach and about a 10 minute walk to town. We spent time isn the clean and hot hot tub, went crabbing, and generally had an awesome time. Highly reccomended.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy and well appointed home. We were about half a block to the beach which made for an easy walk. The kitchen, while small, had everything we needed for making dinner and breakfasts. The hot tub was a hit as well. I shouldn't say anything about how great this place is because then there won't be any spots for us next year! But I feel I owe it to the owner and the place. My two teen daughters, my wife, and I love everything about this house. Lots of good energy. We've been renting places in Rockaway, Manzanita, and Cannon Beach about once a year (when we can afford it) for 15 years. This is our favorite of all the places we've stayed in. The proximity to the beach, the hot tub, the right number of rooms, the light...everywhere the light spilling in through windows and skylights. Oh, and the most comfortable king bed ever! Not to mention the fair rate! Thank you, Spencer, for sharing this house of light and peace.

We had a wonderful time staying at the house. Great location with a very short walk to the beach. Awesome back deck with a hot tub and fence in back yard if you have a dog. Rental provides washer and 2 dryers. Easy check in and out with door code. Owner responds quickly with any questions you have. Will stay here again!

Fantastic property
What a fabulous home! The photos do not do this home justice. Comfy beds. Great showers, well equipped kitchen. Fabulous patio with a grill and hot tub.
We thoroughly enjoyed both the home and the town of Manzanita.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
Our family had a great time during our stay in Manzanita! The property is right down the road from the beach and a short bike ride into town. There was so much to see and explore in the nearby towns, beaches and mountains. The owner was responsive to requests and the home was clean and comfortable with a nice deck and hot tub. We hope that we can come back again in the future.

Authentic, cool, laid back Manzanita stay
We love Spencer’s beach house. It was very nostalgic for me - a total PNW beach cabin feel with modern amenities like a well designed deck with hot tub, , enough space for the family to spread out, all the little things thought of and accounted for like firewood and starter, comfy beds, beach towels,kids games, sand toys, kitchen stuff, and directions for all kinds of stuff. It was so appreciated. Also just in the small piece of property, there is an abundance of wild ginger, salal, and ghost pipe. Totally PNW coast vibes. We will totally stay here again.

Relaxing week at the coast
Overall, this house was perfect for what my family needed. It was an older home with a few newer updates (hot tub, grill, TV). There is a binder with instructions, menus, and activities/local attractions that we found useful, but could use some updating (it still says there isn’t a TV and the pictures/room descriptions must be from years ago). It didn’t have an ocean view (and didn’t claim to), but was a short, easy walk to the beach. The house is also a short walk to Nehalem Bay State Park, which we went to twice, and downtown Manzanita. The king bed was super comfortable. The backyard is fenced, but the deck/hot tub takes up most of it so it wouldn’t be a good fit for someone with big dogs that need lots of room to run around (our dog is small and we went on lots of walks so it was fine for our needs). The grill works well and the kitchen was stocked with necessary appliances and utensils. The house was a good size for a family of 3 with a dog. We loved the hot tub, although some lights outside would make it better as we often didn’t use until the sun was down and it was hard to see getting in/out (some string lights around the ceiling of the pagoda would be cute). Some of the outlets didn’t appear to be working and the rugs needed to be vacuumed. There were also a ton of cobwebs in the ceiling in the main room (but the ceiling is really high up so easy to ignore and probably hard to reach that area to clean). We lost something at the beach and tried to get a replacement delivered to us while we were staying here and we never got it even though UPS claims it was delivered (porch pirates in the area?). Regardless, we ended up having a really nice time during our week here and were sad to go.
