The camp was easy to find and the staff at reception (Beth) was very lovely to deal with. It could have been a great stay for a family, except for the urine smell in the cabin. We got there in the dark so we didn't get to see much of the place and had to book a different accommodation last minute because we couldn't let our newborn stay in the cabin with that smell.

As soon as we opened the door, we were punched in the face with a very strong ammonia/urine odour. Everything in the room looked tidy so we were puzzled where the smell was coming from. We checked the toilet, bathroom, and laundry but the smell wasn't coming from those areas. We're guessing maybe the carpet?? No idea. We had to open the windows to lessen the smell. The beds also didn't have any sheets. There were only fleece blankets in the wardrobe that had hair on them. So we ended up booking another Airbnb last minute because we couldn't stay there with our newborn. We lost out on our payment even though we were only there not even an hour because their policy states it's a non-refundable booking. They said they'll look into some kind of refund but I haven't heard from them since.

Wonderful welcome and check-in. Well maintained grounds. Appeared to be plenty to do for children. Beautiful lakeside location, beach only 5 mins away. Very nice cabin and deck to enjoy the sunset.

Only there overnight, didn't have any disappointing experiences.

Parking at my door Spacious for a small group - kitchen, dining, lounge, bedroom, separate toilet, separate basin, separate shower, separate laundry. Super friendly staff. Easy to walk down to the lake Convenient drive to surrounding areas Peaceful location away from busier areas.

It definitely felt like a school camp or family unit You have to do a lot of tidying and cleaning yourself on leaving, without a clear fee for leaving it to housekeeping.
