Situata a soli 30 minuti da Bracebridge, questa struttura offre una vera vacanza in cottage, ma si trova a breve distanza in auto da negozi, ristoranti e attrazioni della regione di Muskoka.
All'interno dell'ampio cottage open space ci sono viste panoramiche sul lago sia dalla cucina open space che dal soggiorno. Il camino in pietra dal pavimento al soffitto aggiunge un tocco di lusso da godersi nelle occasionali giornate di pioggia o serate rannicchiate con un buon libro. Gli aggiornamenti moderni in questo cottage includono battute di navi, illuminazione e nuovi ripiani in granito. C'è una TV a parete con satellite e molti libri per intrattenere gli ospiti.

Il passaggio poco profondo verso l'acqua si approfondisce gradualmente per nuotare alla grande in acque pulite e chiare. C'è anche una canoa e kayak a vostra disposizione per godervi una piacevole pagaia sul lago. Il lago è noto per la buona pesca della spigola e del pesce persico e sull'altro lato della strada c'è il lago Bigwind dove è possibile trovare più specie di pesci come il walleye e la trota. Il parco provinciale di Bigwind è vicino con numerosi sentieri.

Bird Lake is a nice quiet lake with good fishing. The cottage is secluded yet convenient to Gravenhurst and Bracebridge. There is a lot to see and do in the area and our kids had a wonderful time. The cottage is clean and well appointed; best of all it’s close to the water.

Comfortable, well appointed cottage with everything you need for a stress free holiday. The hosts responded super quickly when contacted. The lake is quiet and lovely for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and SUPing. We would definitely recommend this property.

This is a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. The lake is very quiet and private, the walk-in sandy entry is really nice to have and there was great bass fishing right from the dock. The cottage felt very comfortable and private with all the amenities that you could possibly need. There are indeed lots of different birds at Bird Lake and we would love to spend more time here in the future.

We had an amazing week of swimming, paddling, and enjoying the view from the dock. Jodi and Bryan were incredibly helpful and the cottage was perfect. Can't wait to go back!

Lovely property on a quiet lake. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our hosts Jodi and Bryan were very responsive and available to answer any questions. Great for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing as well as just sitting back and relaxing. It is a bit of a drive off the main road but the roads are well maintained. Nearest town for grocery shopping is Bracebridge which is about a 30 minute drive one way. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

We had a great holiday. The cottage was clean and easy to use. The lake is quiet and the fishing was fantastic. Our kids had a great time. Communication with the owners was very good. We hope to return.

Great Cottage for a Muskoka visit
This was our second stay and it won't be our last. Owners are responsive and the cottage is stunning, nicely renovated, clean, and has an ideal location on an ideal lake. The recent upgrades of satelite WiFi and dishwasher were additional great touches. Thanks again for a great stay Jodi and Bryan!

Excellent location, away from the rat race
Great location if you want peace and quiet - 9 km off the main road on a dead end street. We were there in mid October, hence the absolute quiet, but I imagine the summer months are good as well. Cottage was very clean and just as depicted. Great communication with Jodi looking after us. Our stay came with an amazing light show as mother nature decided to give us a storm, complete with lightning and high winds. We actually lost power but no problem, the back up generator gave us what we needed. I gave it a 5 star for all categories, other than overall rating. I felt that the value for the rate charged wasn't there. Just being honest.

Just what the doctor ordered!
My husband and I stayed with our adult children and there partners coming and going. Everything we needed was there on hand: well supplied kitchen, towels, bed linen, bbq, lifejackets. It was great to be detoxed from phones for the stay but they could still get wifi. Limited but good wifi was excellent for the young adults who downloaded movies before they came. Very neat and tidy property. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddleboats, took great walks and hikes and enjoyed spectacular views onto the lake. Even had a campfire at night . We will be going back!

Cozy and comfortable cottage.
Clean and quiet lake you can cross by kayak ,canoe or SUP.The house is winterized ,so cold fall days are not a problem.We were very touched by welcoming gifts for us ,kids and even our puppy:-)))Will definitely be back for a week or two.

Great fall getaway
Hats off to the owners for an excellent cottage experience That had everything. We were here for 4 nights and got to watch the amazing transformation of the leaves turning colour as we sat by this beautiful quiet lake. The cottage was spotless the upstairs king bed super comfy and everything we needed was here. Our car never moved. Fishing was good right off the dock too and we couldnt have asked for better. Thanks Jodi and Partner! Lol

Such a relaxing cottage experience
We had such a wonderful time staying at this cottage with my infant son and family. Everything that you could have wanted in a cottage was already here and it made for travelling with my baby so easy/care free. We were super comfortable and Jodi and Bryan were so attentive when we needed to ask questions. I’m definitely wanting to come back and I would have stayed longer if I could have! It was so wonderful! A perfect escape.

This cottage is lovely! We woke up every morning with the sun shining on the lake. The dock is a great place to enjoy that first cup of coffee. The water is clean for swimming. The cottage itself has everything you need for a great trip. The beds are very comfortable. We were extremely happy with the cleanliness of the cottage. We would have no second thoughts about returning! The welcome basket was a nice surprise. Thank-you.

We enjoyed the use of the canoe, kayak and the stand up paddle board. It was tranquil and scenic. We spent a great deal of time just happily sitting on the dock. Upon check-in we found a welcome basket that included a lovely bottle of wine and some candy. I have to admit the wine paired perfectly with our Jerk Chicken dinner! It’s as if she knew.... Beautiful Cottage, Wonderful Vacation
Our family had a great stay. The cottage is immaculate and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the welcome basket with local goodies. The lake has a shallow area which made playing in the water great for my granddaughters (we were very happy we brought watershoes). The screened-in area on the deck was great for meals outside. The cottage is well outfitted with kayaks, a canoe and a paddle board, and there was plenty of firewood for evening marshmallow roasting. We would love to come back again.

Superb!
Our family absolutely loved this cottage. It is situated deep in the heart of Muskoka, on a smaller lake, which made for a quiet and relaxing stay without a lot of motorboat traffic. It is very private, and is well stocked with everything we needed for our stay, including a vast selection of board games and lots of watercraft. Our kids spent all day in the water, alternating between the paddle board, kayaks and canoe and the lake was small enough that we traversed its whole length on our canoe trips. Fish were abundant and we caught a number of large bass just fishing off the dock - such a delight for the kids! The cottage itself was spotless, cozy and very tasteful. Jodi and Bryan were very attentive and responsive hosts, who obviously care deeply about this property and their guests. Highly recommend!

Pure Beauty looking out from the Dock!
We had an excellent vacation at this spacious private cottage. It was quiet and had all the amenities that you could ask for. We enjoyed eating in the screened deck dining area and our highlight of the day was sitting on the picturesque dock looking out into the peaceful lake. The watercraft options were amazing and we used everything every day from canoeing to kayaking to the SUP! We will definitely be back! Thanks again Jodi and Bryan!

Beautiful cottage with superb hosts
The cottage was absolutely fantastic, very clean, and nicely renovated. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome basket of local items was a great touch. The position on the lake offers nice sunrise views and some late afternoon shade on the dock, and there is a range of small watercraft available for use. Also must mention the superb responsiveness of the hosts to any needs or requests! Thanks to you both for a wonderful stay!

Relaxing Summer Stay !
We had a great family getaway at this property. The property was very clean and well maintained. There is a good amount of space outdoors for activities, fire, etc. We made good use of the canoe and SUP. The kitchen is well stocked with items you need for cooking and cleaning.
Jodi was very responsive to any questions we had and she even had a little welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. This was a very nice touch.

Fantastic
Jodi's cottage exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed plus extras. Every detail was thought of. We really enjoyed the screened in dinning area on the porch, ate every meal out there. The lake is beautiful, calm waters and warm. Our two year old son could easily get in and out and spent hours splashing around the shallow sandy shoreline. We saw lots of fish! The canoe and paddle board were in great condition, and the lake's calm waters made for a very enjoyable paddle around. Thanks Jodi for the wonderful family memories, we are looking forward to our next stay :)

Beautiful cottage, amazing lake view
We had such a lovely relaxing time at Jodi’s cottage, pleasantly surprised with the welcome basket (with dog treats for Teddy).
The cottage is very nice, clean, we had everything we needed. Beautiful and quiet, the view of the lake is gorgeous, especially with the morning mist.
I enjoyed so much watching the hummingbird on the blue iris flowers by the lake.

Thanksgiving Weekend
We had a wonderful family stay at the cottage over the Thanksgiving weekend. Everything was as we expected it to be based on the website description. There was a lovely gift basket waiting for us when we arrived. Jodi and Bryan were courteous and helpful when we needed access to a kayak. The cottage is comfortable and the view is stunning. We would definitely go back!
