Had a great time staying at the property. Plenty of room for everybody to have some space and enjoy the great deck/outside areas. Sam was very responsive while we were staying there and also prior to check in. Great experience, would definitely recommend to any larger groups looking for a place on the lake!

This house was perfect for our trip to Austin. The house had a ton of beds and lounging areas. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the views and great weather. Process was great and would stay here again.

Special lake front swimming spot - great slide, diving board and swim mat. Big, clean pool. A kid paradise.

While the dock was unenjoyable and unusable due to a colony of mayflies, we still had a great time. The pool was awesome and the house is just as described. The owner was extremely worried about “single girls” causing guys to go wild and disturb the neighbors, but he was very hands off once we were there. All in all, great time, just could’ve done without the ageist and sexist comments from the owner 2 days before our stay.

Had a great experience at this rental. House is in a great location and had plenty of space for our group. The pool and lake access were great as well. The house was in good condition despite being a little older, but everything seemed to work and the property was stocked with basic household materials: cleaning supplies, dish soap, bath soap/shampoo, paper towels, paper plates, pool towels, etc. Highly recommend for anyone looking to spend a weekend with friends in Austin!

There were 16 of us and children from 3-18, everyone was happy. That is tough to do.

As one of our guests remarked upon walking in - "the house knows what it was built for." And it is great for it! It has a lot of beds in a windy, somewhat confusing layout. It is a beautiful location and great for bachelor/bachelorette parties. It is ~35-40 min from downtown Austin.

It's an excellent house for a guys' weekend on the lake--lots of privacy and bunks. The dock and waterslide are functional at the bottom of the hill. Local boat rentals will pick you up on the dock. The house is a 30 min Uber to downtown.

Great house for enough sleeping accommodations and living space. Outdoor area has a great view and is definitely a good area to hang out. That being said, the house is a probably a decade or two past it's hay day - so perfect for a bachelor party, but wouldn't recommend for a luxury family vacation. Host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating - we had no issues.

We had a great family vacation at Sam's house. The house was plenty big enough for a Big Family. We had plans to go sight seeing around town, but we enjoyed ourselves so much at the home that we never really left except to go get groceries once in 7 days. We had a great time on the dock, renting the pontoon boat, enjoying the pool, sitting and chatting on the top deck, the kitchen area just cooking and hanging out and the whole house in general. Sam was great in answering the phone and returning calls prior to our arrival. Once we arrived we never really had any other questions and we enjoyed ourselves the whole time.

House was awesome, plenty of room inside and great accomodations outside. House is right on the water and the dock/slide/diving board makes for a good time. Sam was easy to deal with and checking in and out was very simple. Overall would recommend.

My group of 10 guys had a great extended weekend for a Texas football game. The house itself was better than advertised with easy access swimming pool and down a few sets of steps for dock access with floating raft and waterslide. The house was clean and we didn't see any bugs or critters inside the house despite it's place on the side of the hill and so close to the river. Sam was easy to talk with and work with for planning purposes. I'd highly recommend this house.

Great property for a large group. The house was easy to enjoy, and well-kept. Enjoyed the private dock + waterslide. Pool was also really great to have around on hot days. Plenty of sleeping space + room to socialize. Great hosts.

This house was great for our group. It had all the amenities that made our stay there spectacular. Our group really enjoyed the floating pad in lake, water slide, house swimming pool and out door barbecue area. The view from the decks at sunset was incredible. House was clean and well prepped for us when we got there. I would recommend this house if you want to stay on the heart of Lake Austin. Also, the owner made the overall experience easy and was helpful in answering any questions/concerns one may have!

Can't beat the lakeside views and location. Great for large groups, had my bachelorette party here and accommodated 16 girls with room to spare. Loved the slide and oversized float dockside. Will consider staying again if In area.

Not very clean, refrigerators didn't work much at all, cockroaches in the house at night, wood railings and steps uneven and falling apart, areas of junk/garbage around the property.

Had a group of 12 girls for a bachelorette party here. If you need a big house on Lake Austin this is the house for you, but make sure no one in your group is high maintenance otherwise they will want to go check into the nearest hotel. You can't beat the location and lake/dock situation at this house, but it's definitely not a nice house so don't book this if you're looking for a relaxing get away. You're paying for location on the lake, and space, and with that, it's probably overpriced on the weekend. The house sleeps a lot of people comfortably with 4 rooms and lots of bathrooms and beds, but the house isn't very well kept, so you probably won't want to spend a ton of time lounging around the house. The sheets and towels are a hodge podge assortment, and I'd recommend brining your own toiletries unless all you need is a bar of soap. We managed to cook dinner both nights the kitchen is nice and big but not very well stocked so come prepared. We had some issues with water going out at the house. They worked to get it resolved quickly but one bathroom remained broken with no water to the toilet. The owners and house keepers were in and out a lot over the weekend, so make sure you're comfortable with having people pop in and out. We rented the pontoon boat, but when we showed up there was no pontoon boat to be seen. Sam worked to find us another rental on the lake, and it worked out but provided a few hours of stress upon check in. I'd recommend renting a boat separately so you can plan well in advance for your groups needs. We rented from Wake Riderz and they came and picked us up at the house. Overall the house did the trick, but we were a little disappointed with the conditions given how much we paid.

Great home for lake fun. House is huge and has everything you need for a fun weekend. The waterslide is incredible. Best slide any of the folks in my party have been on in years!!! House was a ton of fun. Highly recommend for your Austin group trip!

We had a group of 15 guys come into town for a golf trip. The house was more than enough room and very comfortable for the weekend. Sam was very helpful throughout our stay and kindly asked us to keep down the noise when we got a little too loud. I would recommend this house and will hopefully stay here again in the future.
