Delizioso cottage sulla spiaggia con 2 camere da letto del 1940 con una cucina abitabile completamente nuova e molto particolare. Una grande sala da pranzo permette di grandi riunioni di famiglia e feste. La casa è molto confortevole e accogliente con bellissimi pavimenti in legno e una veranda protetta. Posizione perfetta per la spiaggia e il villaggio. doccia esterna con acqua calda e fredda è stato aggiunto per lavare via la sabbia. Impressed by cleanliness. Comfortable furnishings & well-equipped kitchen. Excellent wi-fi signal. Emmons staff were very responsive/helpful. Close/easy walk to beach, about 15-20min walk to restaurants (2 min drive & LOTS of free parking). Would definitely stay at The Normandy Cottage again.

Great curb appeal, love the screened in porch, property was as described and was clean, beds are comfortable, house location to downtown and water is very walkable and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet and only thing that needs to be cleaned is the coffee machine otherwise we had a great time and would recommend this home and would stay here again.

Plenty of puzzles and games to keep us occupied at night.Another bonus was the walkability to lots of restaurants, brewery, ice cream, and shopping. This was our first visit to SSI and we wanted to stay somewhere walkable to the beach, food, etc. The Normandy cottage was the perfect place for myself, my fiancé, and our dog. We all loved the large screened in porch for morning coffee and the outdoor shower after the beach, as well as the fenced in yard. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, clean, with plenty of room to relax. We’ll be back for sure!

We were last minute deciding where to go. Love SSI anyway, and the Normandy Cottage was perfect for us. Nicely furnished, great communications from Emmons, very comfortable beds, nice ourdoor shower. The main draw though was the location. Literally a block+ walk to the beach. Plus the public access we used had parking for vehicles and golf carts. We walked to restaurants each evening, too.

I’ve always stayed at East Beach condos but no more. We loved the neighborhood and will be back. Hopefully soon.

Our family had a wonderful visit in this charming cottage. We enjoyed staying in an historic, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed home, nestled peacefully among live oaks. When rains kept us indoors, it was a pleasure to just sit and enjoy the house and its screened porch. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first visit to SSI, and we were very happy with our accommodations at Normandy Cottage. I was thrilled to find a place we could bring our 2 dogs, and having a fenced in backyard with an outdoor shower to clean them off after the beach was wonderful. I loved that while the house has been updated with modern amenities, it still had 1940's cottage charm. It was more spacious than I anticipated, and the screened-in front porch was a very nice feature we enjoyed. The house was very clean and well-maintained with comfortable furniture, all the needed kitchen basics, and nice towels in the bathroom (that sounds minor, but it matters!). Emmons was great to work with, and the house was less than a 5-minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking to the beach as well as the Village for dinner each night that offers a plethora of restaurants. The house is on a very quiet street surrounded by beautiful mature trees, and we felt very safe there. We'll definitely be back!

I've rented this cottage for many years and return each year because of it's great location (a few blocks from the beach and village) but mainly because it's comfortably appointed, is well maintained, clean, great cook-in kitchen and feels like home. The inside of the cottage was nice and clean. This rental accepted dogs and had a fenced in yard. It was walkable to the beach if you were not carrying a lot of beach accessories. The beach was terrific—dogs allowed during certain months and very wide and walkable during low tide ‘Emmons Reality was very helpful when the only bathroom’s sink clogged up. They sent a repair man right away and were very nice to work with. Also, their communication was everything you needed while in the rental. The cons—-the outside and patio areas were in need of some tender loving care. The blind on the front door was completely falling apart and hanging off the door These items are all things that could be easily taken care of to make this rental more appealing. St. Simons was a great place to visit.

This beach cottage is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to East Beach and 15 minutes to Mallory St. The house is clean and well stocked with a perfect fenced yard for my dog. The outdoor shower and garden hose is convenient for getting the sand off me and my dog. I arrived after dark and the lit lamp in the screened in porch and solar path lights were welcome when negotiating a black dog, steps, and the combo lock. I will be back again for another visit!

Cottage was in a great location to the Beach! You can walk to it, but you can also drive with parking spots right at Beach. You are also close to good restaurants. The cottage is decorated so cute & very clean.
