It’s a great property to stay, clean and gots lots of space for big families.

My group and I loved the location to all the great restaurants like pizza, port, Hodads and the noodle Company, as well as the location to the beach where I would walk every morning with my coffee in hand. And the rooftop area was a great place for doing Pilates. We totally stay there again. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great place to stay with a group of friends. Location was awesome, close to the beach (although check algae levels before swimming) and coffee shops, liquor stores, and restaurants. The place was clean and we loved the outdoor shower. There were many levels and ladders, so be cognizant when booking if that is an issue. Bedrooms were very confusing to understand because most were just beds in cubbies or lofts. Front door a little hard to fine. Overall very easy check-in and limited check-out instructions. Great place to stay.

This property worked fine for us and there were a lot of great things about the house, but there were definitely a few drawbacks. We still enjoyed ourselves despite the issues. The pros- great location, great view, thoughtful extras (yay for coffee before we got a chance to shop!), so many beach towels, easy parking, no ridiculous check-out list! The cons - everything is a little run down (the pictures must be from a long time ago). Not a huge deal in most cases, but the dishwasher dispenser door doesn't work, so the dishes don't get clean. The water pressure in the indoor showers is bad. BBQ pit was barely useable (it must have caught fire at some point?). No door shelves on the fridge. Dryer sounds like a freight train. Outdoor spaces need a good cleaning. Low budget pillows. The depends - We had teens, so the loft beds were fine. They didn't like them, but it worked and I thought it was a fun concept and good use of space. Definitely not a space for young kids or older folks. The property is a great idea, but executed cheaply.

Property was perfect for our group the teenagers loved the lofts. There was plenty of space to have your own area and not feel crowded. Great location. Beach and dining and shopping within walking distance and the rooftop deck let us enjoy beautiful sunsets and fireworks shows.

This property is close to the beach and there’s a store literally across the street and stores within walking distance. On the right side of the beach is dogs beach and the left is ocean beach. The property itself is nice, very modern. It’s nice just to see it. Pedro was really good at communicating and all the instructions were pretty spot on. Definitely a place we would go back to.

This was our second year staying here and we still love it! It is in walking distance to everything you need and has all needed ammenities inside. Even though it is small, the many floors and amazing rooftop make it the best spot for friends or family to enjoy. Great spot as always and Pedro responds extremlly fast if needed!

Great house in an easy location in OB. Lots of little boutiques, coffee shops, and good food within walking distance. The house has many cool sleeping options! The roof deck was perfect as well. Felt like a tree house with an ocean view! Pedro was very helpful and available. We would definitely stay again and recommended this place to friends. Thanks Pedro!

We had a fantastic time. A few hiccups on my part but the owner was accommodating and very helpful. We would absolutely stay again.

I stayed with a group of 9 gals in our 30s and I have never enjoyed a rental more in my life! All the lofts and stairs made it all the more fun and I felt like a kid away at camp. We had all the amenities necessary plus more! The outdoor shower, rooftop, and proximity to the beach were a huge plus. Beds were also very comfortable and the place was a lot more spacious than I expected. I would absolutely love to stay again.

The house was the perfect location two blocks away from the beach! Restaurants we’re easy walking distance and there was a convenience store right across the street. The rooftop area was our favorite and we enjoyed bbq there and watching the sunset! The place was quirky and fun with the ladders and loft beds. Would stay here again!

I recently stayed at this property with a few of my friends while celebrating my birthday. The house is so cute and in a great location. There’s an outdoor shower connected to one of the rooms and it is magical. The house has everything you need. There’s rooftop access which is great for sun and fun. A short walking distance to the beach and a bunch of bars and restaurants. Also just a quick drive or Uber ride to everything in San Diego. I will for sure stay here the next time I’m in town.

This property was even better than expected. The design of the house is so fun, and the lofted beds gave the place a sort of tree house-like feel that my inner child loved. The proximity to the beach was wonderful, and taking an outdoor shower in the middle of 'winter' felt pretty surreal and special. I would definitely rent this property again.

Amazing location and the rooftop deck is spectacular, the house is laid out very unique it makes for an excellent stay!

This rental was great! Everything was as advertised with many levels, lots of sleeping areas for different people, a great rooftop, and good accessibility to nearby shops and restaurants. Everything was clean and in good condition. Most definitely don’t rent this vrbo if many of your guests are unable to climb ladders or stairs. Or if small spaces are difficult to use for anyone. My group loved our rooftop. We hung out there everyday. Great bars and restaurants were walking distance! Pedro was very responsive. I requested early check-in since our flight landed earlier than 4 PM as well as late checkout/ the ability to hold our bags at the rental. I do wish he was able to give responses to these questions earlier then the day of check-in/check-out but I understand he has to communicate with his cleaning team.

Good house for the weekend. Host was very responsive but check in was easy! The house has plenty of room for guests, the rooftop was awesome great view of the bay and beach! Only thing that was missing were house supplies. There were no trash bags so we had to supply those, tried to do laundry but no detergent. Would stay here again! So close to the beach

The property looked nothing like the pictures. Unsanitary and unmaintained. I felt like I went on a first date dressed up and showed up to the exact opposite of her portrayal on social media. Very disappointed I asked for a refund and stayed at a nearby hotel.

The air conditioning and water heater/pressure only work in the downstairs area. Upstairs bathroom is cold with little pressure. Upstairs temperature was always 85 to 92 degrees. There’s only one room - which was also hot. The rest of the beds are crammed in awkward places that require you to climb an almost vertical ladder. The door lock was annoying to use - sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t. Rooftop was nice but the grill was dirty. Enough beach towels for everyone. The check out process pretty much required you to do a cleaning service. Parking was good.

There is one bedroom in the entire place with a door that closes. 3 days without hot water on the main level bathroom. We stayed with 7 adults. So the issue handicapped one of two inside bathrooms. U less you want a couch bed you have to climb a ladder to get to a mattress with the exception of the one bedroom. We rented both units. Still one bedroom. Stay here if you’re young, single and don’t need any privacy even to get dressed. You’ll have to get dressed in a bathroom. Host was h responsive to hot water issue. Plan ahead and rent a better place. Ocean beach itself is rad.

The door was a little difficult, and we didn’t realize that there was only one actual room & the rest were lofts. The pictures didn’t show that. However the location was great and the rooftop was nice

Easy walking to the beach and lots of food places. Everywhere we wanted to drive to (downtown San Diego, La Jolla, etc.) was only a 10-15 min drive which was awesome. Loved having the driveway so we didn't have to worry about finding street parking. One thing to mention is the water wouldn't get hot in the shower on the second floor but it 100% wasn't a big deal because we just used the two other showers and the outdoor shower on the 3rd floor was the favorite anyways!

The proximity to the beach and the rooftop aspect of the property were the highlights of our stay. Aside from that the place itself was a lot more run down than advertised. The primary bedroom had a shower that was completely outdoors, and the other bathroom didn’t have any hot water. So, our entire party had to shower in the one downstairs, which was inconvenient. A numerous amount of outlets didn’t work. The neighborhood was pretty sketchy especially early morning and late night. Do not recommend walking around by yourself. There are a lot of places to sleep but the knook and lofts were not shielded by morning light, so the sun wakes you up right when it rises. The AC was not great and pretty old and run down making it difficult to cool the entire home. Most of the time we were pretty hot at the property. Also there are tons of stairs and ladders that you have to climb to get to practically every bed. If that is an issue for you, this place isn’t for you. Again, the place was in a convenient location which made it okay, but for the price we might’ve gone with something else and just driven to the beach.

We just needed a quick spot to stay during our visit to San Diego. This property was perfect and just as described. Plenty of sleeping space, very clean, and good location. We felt safe and had everything we needed. Located in a cool community with a great pizza joint just down the street. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Available on short notice. Neat, contemporary beach house. All beds except one are in lofts, fine for older kids & adults.

We had a great time in San Diego and the house was a great place to call home for the weekend.

It was great staying here! I came for my girls weekend and we had a blast. There was plenty of space for all of us to fit comfortably. I spent the majority of my time in the house on the roof. We enjoyed showering outside in the shower too! It made us really get the Cali vibe! Not that we spent too much time there, because it was insanely close to the beach! Pedro responded in minutes every time I messaged him! I would totally stay here again!

This house was one you’d expect to see on one of the “best vacation homes on the beach” shows. The house was beautiful, had a fun layout and room for the entire family to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The coffee pot with coffee, sugars and creamers was a nice touch. Sunshine filled the living spaces and the rooftop patio was our favorite spot! You can watch the sunset over the ocean and then the sea world fire works at night. There are three bathrooms, two showers and one outdoor shower. It was exhilarating to shower under the stars! The house was a 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants at OB, a two min walk to the beach, a 10 min walk to the OB pier, and a walkable distance to the park by mission beach jetty. The owner responded promptly to my messages and was super helpful and gracious during our stay. It made for a very enjoyable stay. 10 out of 10 I’d rent here again!

Pedro was an amazing host, very communicative and friendly. He was also very responsive and flexible to our needs. Since the first day of our stay was very rainy, Pedro allowed us to check in early so we could stay out of the rain. He also was flexible with a lot of our other needs and asks. The house is a fun layout for older friends/family. The outside showers are very fun and useful. Plenty of parking at the house and around it on the street as well. Something that is usually very stressful at the beach, we did not have to worry about. The kitchen and kitchenware were all very clean. Over all a very fun place to stay at.

The house was super clean and well furnished. It was really unique and all the balcony and rooftop deck were great. Very close walk to the beach.
