Location for us was great, just a short 15minute walk to the river, 5 mins to Cineworld, Nandos and Harvester and 10mins to Asda .Friendly pub, Prince of Wales a few mins walk in the other direction. Property was easy to find with street parking outside and check in was very straightforward. It is a small cottage but it's very well designed and decorated, immaculately clean and welcoming. Very well equipped kitchen and the house 'manual' with loads of information was much appreciated..Perfect getaway for 2

Nothing really other than it was quite chilly in the kitchen area. Seemed to be a draft coming from somewhere. Closing the door between the lounge and the kitchen kept the lounge lovely and cosy though which was all we needed.

Booked for a family wedding. The place was exactly what we required and had a cosy feel to it. When we arrived there was a problem with the boiler. This didn't effect us and the host sorted it out before our arrival. It was clean and immaculate

location - it was great being able to walk into town in 10 mins and Shrewsbury has so many lovely places to shop and eat. easy parking close to the house. very comfortable beds and good shower small but well appointed kitchen with a supply of dishwasher tablets helpful host who was quick to respond and communicated well before and during our stay

A wonderful house, clean and tidy with all the appliances you would need, an absolute credit to our host Kelly. Perfect for our weekend wedding stay but would suit a longer stay, convenient for the town centre. If we are in the area again would definately book again.

The cottage is a lovely traditional terrace, it has been renovated to a very high standard.

Needed a couple more chairs for sitting outside. Not much outside space.

Proximity to Shrewsbury

Stairs were steeper than expected and the carpeting made them a bit awkward, I nearly slipped coming down a couple of times with slippers on and they were too awkward to lift the suitcase up so that had to stay in the dining area. The remote didn’t work for the TV and the dryer also didn’t work. Having been away for over a week we had a load of washing and with rain forecast the airer had to stay in the kitchen and be moved around to access the sink, fridge etc. I’m glad I’m good at reverse parallel parking as the street gets very busy for parked cars.

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner had even left us some milk! We had no trouble parking outside the property and it was only a short walk into the Shrewsbury itself. We thoroughly appreciated the Christmas decorations too - what a great touch! We hope to return again in the future, with our children. Thank you to the host, we had a great stay.

This cottage is immaculate. Not just clean, it is gleaming. Really well equipped kitchen, with everything from a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. I loved being able to park close by without the need to pay or for a permit. Host had put up Christmas decorations for a welcoming feel. And the carpets are so thick, luxurious! Spacious shower, very comprehensive guide to the area and working the appliances, and the host got back straight away with any questions.

Nothing to not like. I didn't want to scratch the pans so possibly a silicone or wooden spoon to add to the brilliantly equipped kitchen...but...when all I can think of is a wooden spoon, come on! The place is lovely.

I liked everything, the house is very comfortable.

Rose Cottage is a former "two up two down" cottage which has been fully remodelled refurbished and renovated to a very high standard. Everything was provided and the level of cleanliness and comfort was generally exceptional. The host, Kerry , provided the access information at the right time and was available to assist further if required.

The stairs are steep and may not be suitable for the very young or very old.

It is the little things that make stays away from home really special and memorable. They are, for Rose Cottage, my host Kerry and her thoughtfulness. The cottage is a well-maintained 2 bedroomed house with a patio. Street parking is easy. It was very well equipped with everything I needed, with no necessary appliance missing, and a lot of little extras to make me feel welcome. There is a very clear book with all the instructions I needed for my stay, along with instructions on check-out clearly displayed on the wall. It was really easy to communicate with Kerry. She always responded promptly and was always very courteous. I would definitely return when next in Shrewsbury.

The house has been very well upgraded to a high standard, set in a quiet side street with easy parking and a short 15 - 20 minute walk into town, easy shopping for the essentials is only 5 minutes away in ASDA. Its the first time we have rented a house when touring, if all the houses advertised are as clean, neat, tidy, and as well maintained we will definitely be doing it again, we spent our days touring in mid wales in the evenings and nights we explored Shrewsbury, the good weather aided the short walk to and from the town center.

There was nothing to dislike, Our only word of advice is watch your head in the attic room, there is a low beams on the stairs.

As a couple this two bed house had everything we could possibly want, very quiet side street, easy to park, nice 20min amble into town down quiet tree lined side streets, infant school, two or three pubs, over the river & you are there. Very clean, great facilities & well equipped kitchen, lovely fluffy towels.

Tiny courtyard garden only big enough for a table, two chairs & the bins.

Modern, clean home with all the facilities needed to make your stay comfortable. Really was like a hone away from home.
