We had a wonderful time and we were able to ride our bikes to the venue and around Manteo.

Great location in Manteo. The over-garage apartment is very well done and has everything you need for a stay. It’s nice that there are three separate rooms…bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/tv room. We have already booked our next visit here.

We enjoyed the property. Cable connection was inconsistent. Didn't rate 5 due to an uncomfortable sofa. Although we were out and about most of the time. Location was great! Todd was very friendly. We would return.

Property and area were nice. We had an issue with the air conditioner the 2nd day we were there. I called and text the owner around 4, he got back to me within a half hour. He did get someone to fix it but not until 9. Other then that the stay was fine

Super cute little cottage in Manteo! This was our first time not staying oceanfront but this little town didn’t disappoint. We still spent most of our time at the beach and found the closest public beach access to be about 15 minutes away which isn’t terrible. It was within close proximity to nags head as well so we didn’t have to drive far for eating out/shopping. My only complaint is that there’s no TV in the bedroom and the TV in the living room only picked up a few channels, and the pillows were a little uncomfy. Otherwise was an excellent stay in a super cute location and would definitely recommend/stay here again!

Host was friendly and check in was welcoming . The studio apartment was perfect for a couples getaway and the location was in walking distance of the town and short driving distance to beaches and Restaurants . Will book again next vacation.

We made a last minute change in vacation plans and found this cute gem of a cottage! Our stay was for a week and we absolutely loved the cottage... clean, comfortable and well supplied in every way, with easy parking out front. The downtown historic harbor of Manteo with restaurants and shops is just a few minutes walk. Tod was a wonderful host and very responsive to questions! Highly recommend! We hope to come back!

We stayed here for 5 nights; beautiful private cottage with all the amenities. Great location - about 10ish minutes to Nags Head and the beaches. Definitely felt more local and less touristy, which I think we both appreciated. Lots of good places to eat and we never had issues finding parking at any of the public beach accesses.
Tod (the host) was also great! Very communicative and offered some great food recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

The unit was in lovely condition, just as advertised, and was perfect for the two of us. We stayed a week and would love to come back. It's also in a great location, you can walk to downtown Manteo's restaurants, shops, and the festival park very easily. Tod was a great host!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It's the perfect size for 2 people, very clean, nicely furnished and basic supplies were provided. We also enjoyed the view of the baseball/soccer field and the convenient location in Manteo. We highly recommend the property and look forward to another stay in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts provided us with great suggestions and quickly replied to messages. Manteo itself is great and the apartment’s location allowed us to walk to restaurants and shops and we were just a short drive away from beautiful beaches. We were sad to leave!

We had a fantastic weekend stay at Caroline Cottage. The cottage is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We love that the cottage is so close to downtown Manteo. Our trip included an event at nearby Festival Park - It was so convenient to be able to walk. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at the shoreline dock at the end of the street. We would stay again!

Easy check in and the property lives up to the other rave reviews. Air conditioning was great and kept up nicely even with 90-98 degree temperatures. Would stay again. Quiet and safe area.

You have the perfect little oasis here. I loved walking around the neighborhood in the morning with my coffee and admiring the beautiful flowerbeds. In the evenings it took just a couple minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in Downtown Manteo. This oasis had everything we needed and we will be back!

Our stay was delightful. Tod and his wife were very warm and welcoming. The property was clean and well kept. It was just a short 2 minute walk into town and the water. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed. However, if anything negative would be not best for older people as there are steps and the bed is so high it is hard to get into. But other than that, it was great. Beautiful area and manager was great to work with.

No better spot in downtown Manteo
This was a tremendous location in perfect walking distance to downtown Manteo. Settled in a quiet neighborhood and across the street from a Little League baseball field, this private guesthouse was the perfect home base for the week and Stick Figure concert I attended at Roanoke Island Festival Park. I’d walk to eat downtown and then go north or south through the Outer Banks with an hour north to Corolla/Duck and hour south to Cape Hatteras. Tod is super responsive, always willing to chat and he owns the Poor Richards Sandwich shop downtown and is on the local town board. He knows all about the area for any help. Highly recommend!

Easy to book. Easy to find. Directions were very clear. Not a speck of dirt to he found. Very comfortable. Missed not having a balcony. Cabinets and bed made for taller person than I am but was not an issue.
