The home is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. CJ greeted us to let us in. Everything is beautifully decorated. It was close by the university, the coast, and downtown was just a short drive away. There was plenty of room to park our car. We definitely plan on being back!

From the assistance at check in, to the local recommendations, this host knows how to make your stay sublime! the home itself is a retro wonder with touches of the past and all the comforts of a modern home. It’s hard to find a VRBO that feels loved beyond measure but this place does! The wood clad walls, decor, mid century furniture and quirky pops of color and pattern make you want to pop some slippers on and sink into your home away from home. take a bath in the mint green tub, or rinse off in the spacious shower, their are ample soft towels to dry your skin, wrap your hair, and luxuriate. gather around a large dining table or the well sized yellow kitchen booth and see your friends go to work in the beautiful kitchen with all the counter space you could need! no matter what you are set up for culinary success! what a great stay! what an easy check out, the host makes you feel that you are in vacation with the ease they give you! amazing amazing amazing! the checkout proccess

We had a great time in the Bay area. CJ was awesome at check in and was available whenever needed throughout the week. Location is great. lots of amenities close by and very safe / quiet neighbourhood.

The listing caught my eye with the cool retro decor and I liked the idea (and cost) of staying outside of the city and close to the beach. We were not disappointed! Daly City is adorable and the house was just like the photos. Especially loved the nook in the kitchen and the cool flowered wallpaper. Got some great photos! Parking was easy and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and to the little shopping center for Target and Trader Joe's. Out host, CJ, went above and beyond - making sure check in was easy and left us an assortment of snacks. Even brought us a delicious homemade cake during our stay. House has washer and dryer, coffee maker, was comfy and clean. It was also easy to drive into San Francisco. Perfect for our family of 5. Will recommend highly to anyone heading to San Francisco.

Chris and Yanti were perfect hosts, generous with their hospitality, and available if and when you might need them. Their property is in an extremely quite neighborhood only a 15 minute walk from bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Plus you are also only a 15-20 minute drive from all that San Francisco has to offer. The property has everything you need for an extended stay, which was our precise situation. Having a washer and dryer was a real plus. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this property again!

There were 5 of us and all slept comfortably. This is a home, not just a place to stay. Interesting decor and plenty of space. The area is great. Walk three blocks to Original Joe’s- a great place to eat or drink. Recommended to us by the owners. Owners are outstanding. Left us a basket of snacks. The owners were great. Friendly helpful owners are so important.

The house sits in a very quiet neighborhood. It is easy to drive anywhere to downtown SF in 15-20 minutes, and many stores and restaurants can be found very close. You can also walk to the shore and admire the fantastic view of the ocean. The house is cosy and the beds comfortable. Last but not last we've received a very warm welcome from CJ, who offered us a lot of good advices and was always available. Definitely recommend.

We stayed as a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoyed a couple home cooked meals in between exploring the city. Conveniently located to get around town and not drive too far to get there. Lots of awesome photo opportunities. When we needed something the owner responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

This retro home, time traveled to the 60's, provided ample space for the 4 of us (parents and 2 adult kids), plus the space to store our camping gear. It was quiet, convenient to the BART, and food options. The host was easily accessible and responsive to our questions, with great advice on DC and SF. I highly recommend this property!

Plenty of places to sleep: 2 bedrooms; and a daybed with a pullout. 10 minute drive to the zoo and beach in a nice neighborhood. Owner lives across the street and was very nice. Noticed a moldy coffee filter left behind in the coffee maker, but not a big deal after a quick cleanout. Would stay here again.

The house was great and the host was very responsive and accommodating. The only thing is that the listing said 2 bathroom but there was only 1.5 (we thought there’d be 2 showers). It didn’t end up being a problem though and we’d stay there again for sure.

This house is spectacular! It's cozy and fun with character overflowing in every corner. The owner is helpful and extremely friendly and accommodating. Would give 20 more stars if they'd let me. Great, quiet neighborhood that is close to everything! Highly recommended.

Great property, super convenient to westlake shopping area, skyline/beach access. Stayed with family over Christmas. Kids really enjoyed it and the owner is super. VERY clean inside- don't be fooled by the super cool retro look- just play the track to Austin Powers and enjoy!! Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pots/pans, etc for doing meals at home. Despite crowded street parking, never an issue since you can park in front of the driveway. Just pay attention to street cleaning schedule- something CJ is very mindful and reminds you when you check in. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful, warm, comfortable home driving distance to shopping and the street car. Lake Merced wonderful walking.

Great time in a very comfortable home

Funky 70's decor brought me back to my youth. House was clean and as advertised. About a mile to BART station, which was nice. Out of the SF tourist path, but close enough to go when you want. Parking was right out front for the most part, which is better than most of SF.

When returning from seeing the city at night there was no where to park near the house. Drive way was blocked by someone's car. Got a ticket the next morning for parking on side street on street cleaning day. There was no where to move car to. Where I live no one parks and blocks another’s drive.

Thanks for the perfect home near the beach & near SF. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back.

Great stay in SF for the weekend.

CJ, host, was a wonderful host and the house was perfect. CJ was waiting for us upon our arrival, and the check in was very easy and quick. The house had everything you would want, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything to prepare any meal. The house was clean and had three TVs throughout the house. The location was close to stores and restaurants. Overall, the perfect place for a family or two couples.

Super clear communication and responsiveness from the renters. Home is utterly charming and kitschy with mid century appearance at no cost to having modern amenities. Would stay there again.
