Comfy beds, a welcome bath, and good location for the St Chemin St Jacques. It was clean.
The breakfast was not good value a burnt croissant and a tiny drink for 6 euros. Difficult to locate the person responsible for checking us in or being able to pay. A shortage of toilet paper a broken hairdryer and no one to ask for things easily. Expensive given the availability of other accommodation locally for what it was

The staff at the hotel are happy and very helpful. The evening receptionist (perhaps owner?) recommended a local restaurant to us and made the reservation for us and the restaurant was excellent. It was Chez Germaine at Geronce. We had a very enjoyable stay at Le Commerce and our little dog was welcomed too and a water-bowl provided for her.

Lovely food and staff who were helpful and patient with our lack of French
We arrived during an intense heatwave and there was no fan in the room. The first night was horrendous- getting up in the night for cold showers etc. we had to buy a fan at the local shop to make it bearable.
Food was delicious but very limited for my veggie boyfriend- please provide more veggie options 🙂

The staff were excellent and worked extremely hard. The food was excellent value for money. I liked the breakfast tariff system. It’s a superb location in the centre of town.

We were hiking the via Podiensis and this stay in Navarrenx was delightful. Great dinner! Loved the location and would recommend to any of my friends hiking the R65.
