Very pleasant staff (reception, bar & breakfast). Good location close to Crossrail station (Over). Courtyard. Real ale.

Great Breakfast, good food all round, nice bar area. Quiet comfortable room, great shower with a screen instead of a curtain that’s always a bonus. Good parking.

It showed 4 stars in Booking and yet it was a 2 stars hotel. It was wrongly rated!

The chef went out of his way to pack us breakfast to go. The ambiance had a vintage charm about it. Flowers hanging outside were lovely.

On Booking.com, I searched on Heathrow terminal 5 and found this place. For the cost of the room plus the cost of the Uber to get to and from, we could've stayed at a better place that was more convenient for not much more $. It is far from the airport and cost us 44 pounds each way with Uber. The worst part of the experience though, was the check in. We arrived at 11 pm. Apparently, they stop checking in guests at 10 pm. We were advised that we were "lucky" that the employee was still there. When I told her that on the web site I said we would not arrive until 11, she said that doesn't matter because they never receive that info. Her long, nasty response to me put the blame on us because she said the confirmation stated clearly that registration closes at 10 pm. When you look at the confirmation, this info is way down the page which I never looked at once I saw it was confirmed. Why confirm when I gave a later registration time (this is probably a booking.com problem)? When I told her this, she accused me of "shouting her out" and said she was off the clock. This was our que to be grateful, but I told her I didn't appreciate being talked down to as if I was an idiot. And even if I had seen that registration closed early, they would've charged me to cancel. She did end up apologizing and offered us water, but it was too little, too late at the end of a long day. When we got to the room, it was cute but the floors were dirty (see attached).
