Came out for a short hiking getaway and this was an awesome location to relax and recharge. Condo was great (amazing views) with great access to plenty of restaurants. The hosts made everything cozy inside and the interactions with them were great.

This is by far one of the best places we've stayed in the NC mountains. It was very clean and well maintained. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The view is breathtaking and the hot tub was amazing. It felt like home. We will be back!

Clean.. spacious.. 95% ofeverything you need.. all furniture was comfortable from living room to bedroom.. hot tub awesome & private.. beautiful views.. definitely coming back !!

From the second you walk in the door, your jaw will drop because the view is just AMAZING! This condo has everything you need, and more. It's clean, well stocked, comfortable, and communication with the owner is easy, if needed. We loved it so much, we even stayed an extra night! We would've stayed longer, but, sadly, we had to get back to reality. We highly recommend this property. 5+ stars!!!

All the amenities you could ever need. Quiet and comfortable. Great bed, deep bathtub. End unit was quiet and private. Wonderful views on either floor. GPS took us right to the unit. Bring your own coffee pot, all they have is an older Keurig. Two flights of stairs to lower unit. Easy access to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, numerous hiking paths. Will consider returning.

This was our second visit to this property and it was, once again, fantastic. Great sunsets and views from the balcony (of course), comfortable, clean, and homey interior, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after our hikes. Everything worked perfectly and Rachel was quick to respond to questions and concerns (power went out during the ice/snow storm--she notified the power company, told us where the flashlights were, and confirmed we could use the gas fireplace for emergency heat. Outage was only a few hours but we appreciated the support). So, all told, another great stay!

The rental was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very generously stocked with more than what we needed! Each night the show was off the back deck as we anticipated each and every sunset! This was one of the rare Thanksgiving weeks that slopes were open, so we were able to get some skiing in as well. We look forward to coming back to the rental on our next adventure! I stumbled across this beautiful condo looking for a little weekend family getaway and so glad I did. Location was great and condo had everything we could have needed and more. Owners were very friendly and responsive. We came in with Hurricane Nicole’s rain and left with a beautiful blanket of snow. Weather was all over the place but we didn’t mind a bit. Porch and hot tub was our favorite. Will definitely be back!

This property had the most amazing view from the back deck. Although this was my kid's first ski trip and they loved the skiing I think the hot tub and the view might be the highlight of the trip.

We love staying at the Reserve! We’ve stayed there numerous times and it never disappoints.

The listing photos do not do this property justice. The condo is beautiful. Lovely furniture, the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on, nice bathrooms, fireplace that you can turn on!, CLEAN hot tub, and a view that will take your breath away. One of the best short-term rental places I have been to. The hosts are easy and drama-free, with great communication. A huge plus is the checkout list is SHORT! My husband and I came for a couples long weekend with my sister and her husband to go skiing. Great location (definitely recommend all-wheel or 4-wheel drive), close to the mountain. We will definitely be coming back for our annual ski trip next year!

Wonderful place to stay. Unfortunately, our weekend coincided with a terrific winter storm so we were a bit snowed in up there. Otherwise, a wonderful property - beautifully maintained with full amenities. The owners are awesome.

My time here felt less like a rental and more like a good friend let me use their beautiful condo unit. It was well stocked with kitchen appliances, kitchen supplies, and linens. We adored the views of the sunset from both inside the unit and the hot tub. This was also a perfect location for our weekend of hiking and tubing with kids in that we were close enough to come back to the condo for mid day breaks.

The cabin was very nice with beautiful sunset views. It was clean and very well appointed for our Thanksgiving family weekend; any appliance and needed cooking-ware is within reach which was very nice. The hot tub is very nice and clean, we only wish we could have used it more! The games and blocks/toys were very nice as well and kept our niece and nephew very entertained when they came over. The master bathroom is very nice and large, we only wish the bed was not quite so firm. A great vacation spot and rental - we'll be back!

This property really has it all. It is exceptionally clean, the views are amazing and the location is really convenient. The 2 bedrooms were ideal for my family of 3 and parents. It is close to everything in Banner Elk and short (beautiful) drives to Boone and Blowing Rock. Sitting in the hot tub on a chilly evening watching the sun set is sublime. The owners respond quickly if you need anything.

What a beautiful home to experience the changing leaf season in mid October! We wanted a centrally located place near Grandfather Mountain so we could explore from Blowing Rock to Little Switzerland on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was wonderful coming "home" every day to this wonderfully appointed place. And the views from the hot tub were the best! Thank you for a memorable experience!

I can't say enough nice things about our experience at this condo. It was beautiful and so clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the views were beautiful! The owner was super nice and so easy to work with. The kitchen was very well stocked. Everything was perfect! The location was great with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!

We spent our anniversary here and we have a great time. Not far from so many things to do and the condo was perfect for rest! Clean, updated and the view sales itself. We will be back!

Perfect for family getaway. Nice location, perfect amenities and very clean.

Really nice home with an amazing view of the the sunsets and mountains. The hot tub on the deck is also nice, just make sure you are ok with heights. The place is at 5200ft on the back of the summit of Sugar Mountain so your views are great, but it is windy, but you can walk to the back of the ski runs with a nice area to sled in behind the buildings. Great trip and will definitely book again.
