Lovely bright and airy apartment with large balcony overlooking the marina. Very tastefully decorated with whites and blues giving it a nautical feel. Everything was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfy. After a phone call host met us late (10 pm) at Lidl car park and we followed him to apartment He was very friendly and showed us everything clearly including the underground parking which was a great benefit. Large TV had netflix which was useful in the evenings. Good wi-fi connection. Tip - Albufeira Gourmet near McDonalds just off the ring road (about 3km) does great piri chicken and chips for 6 euros each. The 3 of us had this a couple of times with black beans (very yummy) for just 20 euros. For a good beach walk go to Oura beach and head westwards. We were very sad to leave.

Walk to old town was about 30 minutes. Some other reviewers have said 10/15 minutes. Unless you are an Olympic walker don't believe them! Walk is also up a very steep hill so bear that in mind. Not a complaint but just saying how it is. I last came to the Algarve about 30 years ago and the over-development in some towns is quite sad. Praira da Rocha, Quateira and Amaceo De Pera are extreme examples but in between such places is thankfully still a lot of beautiful coastline. You just have to look a bit harder to find it.

Everything there we needed and little bit more! Hosts are very helpful 👍 We would recommend this apartment to friends and family Loved the view of Marina 👍 We had a car to explore, but it’s not essential, nice walk Into the Old Town up the small hill. Taxis there if you need them?? Would look to come here again in the future Thank You for a very relaxing stay.😀

Beautiful apartment in front of the marina. Perfect location if you have a car and want travel around. The apartment has everything you need. Very clean and of great size. Very sweet interior, which makes you feel perfectly cosy. We stayed for 4 nights and loved it a lot. Would love to stay much longer.
