The shower had low pressure. Initially we got just one towel for our 3-night stay. When asked for a new towel we got this.

Wonderful surroundings, large swimming pool, calm area and nice hosts! Everything was perfect!

The location is little bit further from the beach, you need to have a car or a scooter to get there.

Casa Gio is an amazing oasis right near the center of Las Terrenas. Our son was in the hospital down the street and we needed a place to get away to that was close. Gio and his son, Mattia, were amazing hosts. They gave us a few dining tips in town and always asked how our son was doing when we went back and forth. Payment was also very easy via paypal. The small compound feels like a garden setting with a a great pool, very nice eating area and quaint outdoor kitchen/eating area under an authentic thatched roof. The room was large, comfortable and had all the amenities you need.

Although the rooms were a bit dated, they were fine and very very charming. Also, the room had a working TV with cable, a good small refrigerator and a large comfortable bed.

There were a couple of the stovetop espresso makers, but the larger one was broken. The working one was very small.

The garden is wonderful, pretty flowers everywhere. - The ouddoor kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the pool is awesome, the whole place is so clean and neat. - The owners are very nice, good conversation and tips all the time. - The price is really good. - The rooms are big and you also find everything you need, a fridge, big wardrobe etc. - You can park your car there and its super safe. - Location is good aswell, about 10 min by car to the beach. Really recommend this place, it was the highlight of our vacation. We loved the silence and peace inside the area.

This is a wonderful place, the best we ever stayed (and we travelled in domenican republic for 1 month) it's super clean, the rooms are like small apartments as they are so big and spacious. It's nothing like you will find around, fast WiFi as they have fiber, great water pressure and hot water, amazing pool, great outdoor functional kitchen with x2 sinks and cooking hobs and every room has also Air-conditioning and fans. the place is managed by this lovely Italian family who made it up really nice, up to Italian standards, not domenican standards, so it is really the best u can find in las terrenas. It has got a beautiful garden and it is behind gates in a lovely residential secured area 7mins from the beach and from the centre of the city ! I cannot recommend this place enough, happy to answer any questions, we stayed there a few days we didn't want to leave!
