Nice to see how the hotel be upgraded by the new friendly owners, breakfast 👍

It seems we paid a higher price instead the price from booking.com, but we could not find the owner anymore afterwards. The most negative thing for the whole group, the older man behind the bar being negative and did not give the feeling he enjoyed his job much that we decided to go somewhere else for a drink, he was even shouting on the end when we came back to the hotel, we needed to take our drink to the room, else he would not have give it. We just waited 1 min for the group and would take our drinks up to the room. You never should shouting like this to your guest and give time to them to explain. Its was a kind and big group from Slovenija.

It was very clean

Heating didn't work exceptionally cold therefore couldn't shower. Told breakfast served between 8.00 - 10.00 in the restaurant and because of very few guests we were given a take away breakfast, and this wasn't due to corona because the rules had been lifted. But we were given a room across the road and the main hotel was clearly not fully occupied, so all told it was a very uncomfortable stay.

Bed might be better (the matras was too soft). Almost no sound isolation between the rooms.

The location was excellent! Breakfast was great as well and the staff was very kind. The roofgarden was also very nice.

The bed’s were ok but only since it was for just 2 nights. The shower was a bit dissapointing but workable.

Very tasty food, really good quantity. Very friendly, helpful, nice and cooperative personel. We enjoyed stay. Recommend to everyone who would be looking for good place to stay in Valkenburg. Short distance to most interesting points (restaurants, monument, castle ruins). high 9.5/10

Vegan friendly, friendly staff

Nice "upgraded" rooms with enough space and very clean. Breakfast was served in the room (Covid-19) in 2 boxes, a very good breakfast (more than enough). We also had diner in our room and was very good. The staff was very friendly and anything asked was possible.

There is nothing..

The hotel is very close to the center and the staff was nice. The breakfast was well organized with time slots to pick up food and there was a good variety of choice.

The room was very old and a lot of things outdated, the pictures are misleading. The hairdryer was not working properly as well as the heating. The bedsheet had stains on them and when it started raining we understood where the stains came from... some water was dripping from the ceiling on the bed, luckily it started raining only when we had to check out.

Close to city centre, along a busy road, but our room was quiet. Nicely sized room including coffee maker. Due to Corona breakfast was brought to our room. Ample parking space behind the hotel.
