Large 3 bedroom apartment, quite for familes but close to the beach and shops can walk or scooter.

New waitress staff little experience, long delays
in ordering.
Poor dinner, covered in salt.
Ceilings dirty
No bathroom extractor
Boards covering holes in bathroom ceiling.
Shower taps drip unless adult tightens them to an inch of their life

Location was excellent. across from the beach. nice pool. the apartment was spacious and met our requirements for the amount of guest.
we did have seniors with us and we were put on the 3rd floor and there are no lifts at the apartments.
and i talking about 4 flight of stairs.

More complimentary coffee and teabags in the room, and maybe a first wash powder provided would have been welcome.

The location was great just a short walk into town, it was very clean and everything in the appartment was fully functioning

The apartment was close to the beach and the facilities were good.
The apartment had a horrible musty wet smell, that lingered in the apartment the whole time we were there (four nights). It is definitely not worth the expensive price tag. There are better value for money options in Port Douglas than the Mandalay. It may be worth mentioning that if you have a lot of luggage, there are no lifts on the premises.

unfortunately would have liked the pool to have more sun but then again you can’t move all the buildings

Location was about a 1Klm walk into main part of town, which we wanted. Very close to beach, Pool was good, we had downstairs apartment, so easy access to everything.

Mandalay is so close to Port Douglas town centre and the beach. The facilities were amazing including the brilliant pool. The room was amazing, great décor & furniture - the space as fantastic.

Close to the shop,clean,staff are very good and friendly.I highly recommend the property if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.They upgraded our apartment from two to three bedroom without any additional cost.
