Excellent value for money with a great location and an incredibly kind and helpful host! The hotel is right next to the Old Town of Heraklion and less than a minute's walk from supermarkets, bus stops and bakeries for all your daily needs. A tea and coffee station was provided along with salt, pepper, olive oil etc, which was great for making small meals at home. The views from the top floor of the building are amazing, especially from the balcony, which was the perfect place for breakfast or for some raki at the end of the day! The highlight of the stay was the hospitality of the host, making sure we had everything we needed and giving great local advice on where to go and what to see. We were lucky enough to even get to try some homemade raki and baked goods!
Be prepared for lots of stairs if you're staying in the upper floors, but it's well worth it for the view!

Communication through the Booking app.
At the departure, the host greeted us and congratulated me on my partners birthday.
Top floor room with no lift.
After arriving in the room, it would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the fridge. I felt like passing out, carrying the bag and going up around 50 stairs.

Clean room with good working airconditioning. Really nice host and perfect location.
The apartments where on the top floor with no elevator. Due to the warm weather that could be a challenge but the view on the top floor and the good working airconditioning made up for that!

The room is 10 minuts by foot from the city center
The bathroom is not inside the room, the room is small and the fridge doesn’t work.

Mainly I liked the view from last floor and that there were no suprises. I knew what to expect before arriving there. Do not expect a 4 stars hotel kind of experience. It is a small clean room with the bathroom on the hallway. The manager is indeed very helpful as saw in previous comments

Mike provided excellent hospitality and was an amazing host! Water jug provided at our disposal everyday. He made sure we had everything we needed and went about and beyond.

Perfect location for a good price, near to city center, airport bus. The room was clean, with a very good air-co, and the host vas very helpful.
Our room was on the top floor, there is no elevator and I did not expect so many stairs (is a bit difficult with a heavy luggage), but overall this is a good choice :)

Excellent position, you can be reach the centre walking in a few minutes, there are all the services in the area (bus, supermarket...). The host was nice. The common veranda is nice and useful and offers a view of the city. In the corridor there are some common comforts (electric kettle, some tea or coffee sachets) and in every room there is a fridge, TV, air conditioning. Each room has a private bathroom, even if detached from the room.
The room was quite small with a very small window.
The position of the rooms with respect to their numbering is strange, we had to go up and down the long stairs several times before figuring it out.
Every time it was fun to go to the toilet, as it was suspended above the stairs!

• The host Mike was easily the best thing about our stay. He was friendly, informative and welcoming. He also helped us carry our luggage to the top floor.
• The room is very basic but it reflects the price so you get what you pay for.
• Good location
• Nothing seemed to dry completely in our room- clothes, hair and towels.

Just everything exceeded my expectations. Neat room, and a friendly owner with knowledge of transportation of the island.
One piece of advice, this building has no lift so keep this point in your mind.

bathroom was outside the room, no electric socket next to the bed, also no hot water in the shower.

The place is in absolutely perfect location. You are 10 min walk from the main streets where are all the sightseeing. But from the other side the neighbourhood is for local people, also you can grab cup of coffee and sandwich on reasonable price. Nice bakery and the shops were very close to the private rooms.
Moreover we liked that rooms have own fridge, sheets are fresh and new. The room is lovely with small decorations details as pictures, figures.
Mike was ready to help any time.
We had also nice view from the balcony.
Overall it was very comfortable stay and we hope to come again sometimes. We wish Mike good guests and are grateful for his kindness:)
It can be a little noisy, if you have some guests who come late. But for us was ok, since in Oktober were not so many neighbours

Cheap price for a night stay.
The bed is really uncomfortable and hard for us.

We liked the late self check in because we arrived late. There was free parking 10 meters from the accomodation. We stayed on the top floor, there is a nice terrace with beatuiful view on the city. In the hall between the rooms is a small kitchenette where you can make a simple breakfast. In the area you can find a lot of bars, restaurants and local street food places. We where very grateful to find a great place for dinner in only 3 minutes walking, it was a great start of our vacation. The bed is also very comfortable and we slept very well. We stayed only one night but all in all a great experience.

Maike was very nice and friendly. although we arrived at 00:00 it was no issue to check in also the check out was super easy. we enjoyed the view from the veranda during windy weather.

Up to our expectations, clean, comfortable, convenient, close to the city center.. All of the main attractions are walking distance/bus stops are very near. The landlord was kind enough to give us exceptional restaurant recommendations. :)

The accommodation was extremely near to the main attractions of the city centre. The view from our room (on the top of the building) was stunning! We found everything we needed in the room, that was confortable and cozy. The host was very friendly and available: he gave us some excellent advice about restaurants and museums. Highly recommended!
