Online Check Inn mit leichten Schwierigkeiten, musste einen ID-Check durchführen ohne Netz. Den Hinweis auf das W-LAN habe ich einige Zeit später erst gelesen.

The property has potential
The images are very misleading and the flat was actually not as open as light as displayed in the pictures. The property operated digitally only which isn't a problem if the iPad is working in reception but it wasn't. Also the house guide is not very comprehensive. It should entail more details about how to get new towels, how to leave the flat behind, etc. Just basic information. You can call a number or ask for WhatsApp support but it took them a week to get back on WhatsApp. By that point we were already back home. If you're planning to work there please be aware that the internet is very slow and there is no phone signal. It's a very remote location. Overall I expected more.

The apartment was very comfortable, everything we needed was there, even some dishwasher tablets, some coffee capsules and kitchen towels. We had exit to the outside terrasse. Wifi was working well and self checking withouth any problems. It was a great place for making short trips around south Schwarzwald.

Minimalistic design, spacious rooms, easy check in, fully equiped kitchen.
Shower drain didn't seem to be working very well because the water piled up quickly. Long processing time for the Hochschwarzwald Card. Overall I find the hotel to be too pricey for its value.

The overall location and stay was nice
The checkin process is complicated and can lead to confusions. Although it is meant to be simple as it is self checkin, but for travellers who are not tech savvy, it can be very difficult. also it is difficult to contact the hosts on weekends or on off hours.. thus making it a very poor situation. For the property, I would recommend that they explain the self checkin process with detailed screenshots to avoid any confusions.

We enjoyed the property, for sure it deserve a higher score on Booking. We came with our dog and the room was prepared with bools and treats, so, dog owners will love it. Fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable (and big) bed.
In our room the internet didn’t work, for us was no problem but for someone who works from computer, could be.

The location in the heart of the Black Forest was great for taking different day trips and hikes. We had a last minute problem with an Airbnb and were able to rent a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen here at the last minute, which saved my trip.
The apartment was not entirely clean and we did not have a functioning coffee maker. Staff said they would get us a new one, but never did so we had to boil coffee in a pot.

we arrived at the facility with a 5 month old baby after driving for 4 hours and could definitely use our room to feed and change our baby. but when we arrived there, the digital self check in facility was out of service and there was no way to check in. The location has such bad cell reception that calling the helpline was an adventure in itself. They told us that someone can come in 45 minutes to check the checkin terminal, which was utter annoyance. After 30 minutes of back and forth, the property booked us for another hotel of theirs some 20 minutes drive away. Having a hotel in middle of no where with zero support people is not what I expected.

Booking.com did reserve only 1 person per double room but 2 persons for each have been ordered so 4 beds had to make ready in short time. This is the 2nd time we face this problem while using booking.com.
Room was not preheated.

They did not tell us that they don't accept credit card and we haď to go and get cash... they also ignored the birthday of my husband.

Breakfast was delicious. The room was marvelous it had a fascinating view and the staff was very Friendly. I am a frequent traveler and must say me and my family were impressed.
