I didn't notice any rats except the staff

The clerk at Hotel Vadászkürt Inferior scammed me on arrival by charging double the tourism tax then changed the billing currency without my knowledge or permission and added on a 3.6% fee. She then played dumb and blamed my bank which doesn't charge any fee for currency conversion. she played the woman card like I couldn't object to being cheated by a woman. They refused to refund the scammed money. Later they offered free breakfast to atone for their sins but would you eat free food offered by a scammer? I wouldn't because that type of person would serve tainted food. The plumbing was substandard and the stairs to access the bedroom were dangerous but the primary problem was being cheated and lied to on arrival. I've stayed in over 100 hotels in the last few years and nothing like this has ever happened before it's truly shocking.I believe they cheat all foreigners this way and double tax everyone . The tax authority should check and make sure they are remitting the scammed tourism fees and not just keeping them. Not very hospitable. If you visit this hotel watch out for these two scams.

the room is super spacious and comfortable. the staff is also very kind and helpful. the location is also nice since it's not too far from the old town as wel, completely walkable and also near a bus stop.

the rooms are very comfortable, everything was exactly as shown in the pictures and written in the description. It was possible to store the bikes in the closed garden/garage

The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Not a noisy area, we slept well.

The room was quite basic and the forniture quite dated. Good to sleep, not for people looking for high standards.
