Everything was excelent !!!!

We booked two rooms: a standard room and a comfort room. Rooms are very old and it seems to be in a 2 stars hotel. Price is not adequate to quality.

Location is wonderful

Not having a room that is clean is not acceptable for an establishment that suggests it has 4 stars. The swimming pool was not available at the times it was offered. Even with limited French there was not way to slow the waiting staff from rushing through the menu. If a reservation is made at 19.30 and you don't get seated until 21.00 that is not acceptable. Only playing at being a 4 star. No understanding of service. Pay and excess for a dog and not have a room cleaned. There was a band of paper that was used to show the toilet was cleaned under the floating toilet for the entire length of our stay. I would not stay here or recommend it to anyone. No info on the local events or sights.

Very nice surroundings, quiet and charming. Buildings are nicely rehabilitated. Cosy rooms and confortable bed.

Some details could be improved such as the type of coffee pods in the room, removing old water and old pods between customers.

Beautiful place, we are looking to return there in September 2021.

The Breakfast was very expensive for what we received, We have had much better ones, particularly when a buffet is part of the deal. Dinner was also very expensive and the portion sizes were abysmal. It was necessary to top up from our own supplies after, we are not big eaters but do like to have a substantial meal. When we return we will not be using the restaurant facilities unless there has been a significant change in the value for money aspect.

Very beautiful location and very kind and helpful staff.

The room was too cold and felt a little damp. However, staff were forthcoming and kind when i made a complaint.

A great location if you were a wood elf excited by the smell of mushrooms

The rooms were musty and smelt of mushrooms - dank, dark and depressing. The private terrace wasn't private. The outside chairs were cheap metal, tatty and tiny - enough for one buttock. There was no minibar, no room service and no wifi. All buildings are spread out - the swimming pool was up a hill, the main reception along a track. The location promised so much and the hotel met so little.

The setting was beautiful, the views from the dining room were very picturesque. The old mill was a very characterful building and the cottages around the grounds were lovely.

Our cottage was in a nice setting, but it was quite far from the restaurant, it would not have been pleasant if it had rained.Unfortunately there was not 'hot' water in our room. Although we were compensated for this I would rather have had the hot water. Because the hotel is set in a valley there is no wifi, which in the 21st century is a disadvantage. Breakfast was disappointing.
