Just the location really
Very basic, power went off the next day due to planned works, but we were only informed at check in.

The rooms were comfy and staff were polite and happy to greet
Breakfast was a disappointment since the last time we stayed at one of your facilities the only eggs now available appear t be scrambled which tastes awful like it has been made from dried egg, you really should try it. No fresh eggs and the coffee was also left wanting in flavour.

I have a milk Allergy and when we checked in the reception staff bought me up some oat milk which as nice of them, but in the morning when I asked as all they had was cows milk I was told sorry we have only got normal milk and 2 woman didn’t look that bothered in trying to supply or help to fix the issue even though you have allergy information around your breakfast area.

Going there without car I think withpublic transportation will be a little difficult. But I don’t know since I’m there with my own car but the area doesn’t look like a place where one can easily grab a public transport

The whole experience was very good and quite professional. The breakfast food quality was very good.
The location was excellent for my needs.
The breakfast room, nearest the buffet is very busy and cramped. Please have breakfast there and see for yourself. Also a staff member dropped the utensil for picking up hash browns on the floor and just put it back. Reception rang me during a busy time to check we were arriving, after I had booked and paid for the room (Sally).
Also initially the reception thought I still had to pay for the room.
The room was adjoining and we could hear other guests talking very early in the morning after we had finished work during the early hours.

The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of variety and the breakfast area was kept clean and tidy, a service level expected at a very high-end hotel. The room was spacious and clean and everything worked, the bathroom was much better than expected and the beds were very comfortable.

Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable and room included ironing facilities and was attractive.
The only problem was the shower soap dispenser did not work or needed filling.

The property was clean and tidy. As we walked into the room we had mini mint chocolate and the hot drink part was fully stocked up.
The bathroom was great. Very clean.
The usb port on the left hand side of the bed was not working. Some of the paper on the ceiling by the shower was coming off.
We had an issue during the night where the people next door to us were making a lot of noise. I did call up reception and explained the situation. Reception did deal with the issue, but they still continued to make a lot of noise. I was going to call up again at 12:30am but it did suddenly stop so I was able to sleep.

Self service Breakfast included and was very good with lots of choice and replaced with more food as necessary

Food provision in evening if wanted not good - very basic and some things on menu offered unavailable. So ate out nearby instead.
BUT recognise this is an "Express" hotel and as such, no restaurant.

My wife got an itch that leaves mark all over her body. The itch is like a bite from bed bugs.

Rooms are very poor quality and definitely not worth what they are charging for nightly rates. The hotel needs at least at a minimum a lick of paint and rooms need freshening up. Hotel staff could really engage with Customers better and at least attempt to provide some what level of Customer Service. Any form of request or question was too much for them.
Mainly the attitude from the stuff. The night Manager in particularly was very rude. All Front of house staff were not engaging and really need not want to assist or answer any questions. Any engagement with customers seems to be too much from them, very rude and standoffish. Very poor quality of rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast choices were also not great. Not worth the price they are charging.
