Helpful, professional staff. Nice pool and pool area, although small and can get busy. Room was nice, comfortable and clean. We where able to use the showers and bathroom in the pool area after we had checked out as our flight was a late one.

Screen on the bathroom window wall was not opaque - able to see through. No wear to hang wet togs or towels to dry if we wanted to reuse them. No hot options for vegetarians for breakfast apart from eggs.

Nice hotel, pool on rooftop was small but fantastic, bartender was really wonderful! Breakfast was really good with a great spread. Location is really good and easy to walk around. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pretty good stay all around. Bath in the bathroom seemed sketchy, don’t think it’s made for someone is 6 foot 2 and 90kgs 🤣

Staff were lovely

No hot water in room and if it worked there was no pressure. Service for food was very slow and now worth eating. There is no spa on the property, they arrange a car for you to go in to another one of their properties, this adds on a lot of extra time, then they as you for a tip and payment when it has already been done at the other place. Let me say staff really did their best and the foyer was amazing.

The roof top pool area was wonderful. Afternoon tea was a nice bonus and breakfast had plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Room not so large, but liveable.

The location, the reception area with restaurant and the upstairs pool and bar area. The breakfast was also good.

The bedrooms were very small and the shower leaked onto the floor. The windows didn’t have block-out blinds and rooms were very light in the evening. Also sound proofing was a huge issue.

Cons - Breakfast, Afternoon tea and Staff Stayed 5 nights and we were assigned in total 3 different rooms. We upgraded to a room with a window at booking time and the first room assigned to us was window-less. We nicely mentioned the "mixup" (based on past reviews this happens often) and we were promptly given a key-card for a second room without them checking system for availability (it was as if they were expecting the complaint) Alternative room was good, clean and modern. On our second to last day we were woken at 9 a.m. to inform us that we would be switching rooms by 10 am. No explanation given. I imagine it was that we were in 1 of two adjoining rooms that may have been needed for a family (which is understandable) New room was ok with small problem regulating water temperature. The room change was just a bit of a hassle with repacking and an abrupt start to our day. Rooftop tea was dissapointing. The quantity did not cover the amount of guests joining and the platters were not re-stocked. If you weren't there at the beginning then it was definitely not worth the effort. We stopped joining after the second visit. Breakfast was an Asian buffet - food looked good but did not have items that cater to non-Asian guests not wanting noodles with their morning coffee. We joined one morning and then opted for local cafes with more variety for the remaining 4 days. On checkout we were shown a phone snapshot of a cracked complimentary glass water bottle taken from our second room. We informed the staff that the bottle was broken when we entered the room. We dried the furniture (no damage) and placed the bottle in the bathroom. The manager told us "We won't charge you for the broken bottle" I informed him twice that we didn't break it and of course we would not be charged for a glass water bottle. He stuck to his "good will" comment of not charging us. Not the treatment I after staying 5 nights.

nice location and excellent staff Henry the front office manager was very helpful always with a smile he was a great help the breast and tea was a nice arrangement the pool on the rooftop was great after a long days walk it was amazing to dip in the pool for kids it would have been good place though nothing much to do

The lift is not equipped with a security feature. Anyone can walk in, take the lift and access all the common areas. The hotel is old and needs some revamping. The dining room is small, food display not convenient to access.
