Miscommunication around re-supply of towels etc however property clarified on our departure.

the spa bath was not working. not ideal when we got this room for the bath. would have appreciated a discount or a gesture from the management team

Where it was located.

Milk was expired and was no others to replace it. ‘Manager’ told us he wasn’t the manager, just the person behind the desk and had to contact booking.com to try get a refund, but upon further conversation, it came out that said person was indeed the manager. No towels in second bedroom. Blood on bottom of toilet seat. No hand towel in bathroom. Rubbish not completely emptied out of bin (which by the look of it was a sanitary pad wrapper)

Location was good. Television was huge! Room, ensuite and kitchen were big but old and a little shabby Parking was free.

The bed was awful. We were told the owner had ordered new mattresses, which was good, but didn't help us. We were offered a little off the room rate, which we accepted as we felt it would be too much of an upheaval to find another place. The curtains in the kitchen had food on them, as they were almost on top of the cooking surface, and people must have been pushing them out of the way while preparing meals. There were signs telling us to be mindful of hot water use, as we shared it with others in the building! We had been upgraded to the only room with a spa bath, which was nice, until you realised you couldn't use it as you would use all the hot water, then have to wait two hours for it to regenerate. That is assuming other guests wouldn't complain about us using all the water! We think a decent bed would have transformed the stay, which wasn't hideous, but when you think, a decent bed is a large percentage of why you get a room in the first place, it takes a lot away from the experience. The wifi dropped in and out. Darren was trying his best and was helpful when called upon.
