Very nice and quiet location immersed in nature and 10 minutes away from the beach. The room was very clean and spacious. The house have a beautiful backyard perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The owners were very nice, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the location because we had a car. It was a quiet place. We walked around the mountain roads and relaxed in the garden. Breakfast was delicious. Our host was very kind.

The place is beautyfull, cosy and a good starting point to travel around. It has a wonderfull garden and the hosts are really nice. We had a lovely time

It's a beautiful old house. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It said the house was dog friendly which is why I chose it and it was fine for that. If you like authentic old houses then you will like this place.
The beds were springy and not so comfortable. We arrived late evening and the car park is some distance from the house, not ideal for unloading the car, and also for safety reasons.

Breakfast was in a coffee corner, just around the corner.

We stayed two nights in this lovely rural house on our way to take the ferry home from Bilboa port. It's in a great location 30 minutes into Bilboa but in the quiet tranquil mountains. Its about 20 mins from Castro Uridales - a lovely seaside town great for a walk in the evening. They have private parking, a fenced in and very beautiful garden for dog guests and for humans to hang out in. Very relaxed kind people. Each room had a veranda and all you can hear all night is birdsong - the rooms are plenty big and have everything you need in them. This is not a sterile hotel type experience, the house is lived in and beautiful but is an old country house and so has a few rough edges. Good value, simple tasty breakfast available and I recommend it. PS there are also some great walks in the area if you want to get out and about. Wouldn't be great for a traveller without their own transport though as no services nearby.

Maria was extremely friendly and helpful. It was easy to find, the garden is lovely.
It was hard to find somewhere to eat on a monday night.

Nice location and lovely couple who own it.
Only 30 minutes from Bilboa ferry port.
Although it was a perfect location for an early morning ferry we felt it was a little overpriced. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and hostels on our 2 week trip and this wasn’t quite the standard of places half the price, but this could just reflect the area.

Friendly couple who run the hotel deserve lots of custom. Nothing was too much trouble. Old style Spanish home with mod cons. The setting of the hotel among the mountains close to beaches and towns was beautiful. Pretty garden to use if desired. tea facilities in the room. The host cooked a three course dinner for us on request at a reasonable price. Great place to stay !!!

Bed was a bit firm and booking said that it included breakfast but we were charged separately for this.

Beautiful location with a wonderful garden with views over the valley. Different seating areas had been created, offering tranquility and privacy and allowing for complete social distancing between different sets of guests. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, serving breakfast early because of our departure time for the ferry. Very pet friendly.
Pretty room but had no surface for putting anything down - the only options were the bed or the windowsill. Great to have the kettle and tea making facilities, but this tray took up the only flat surface - bedside lampshades filled the bedside tables.
