Excellent breakfast, great shower, comfy bed, dark room with good lights. Good coffee machine in the room, very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Easy walk just down the road into the centre of Portree

The small glass shelves on the bed-sides can come loose when picking things off them - this happened twice and they fell to the ground. A small bowl at breakfast to out the yoghurt and fruit into would be good, and a larger place for the croissant.

The rooms are amazing, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. I don’t often feel relaxed at hotels but it’s easy to relax at your hotel. I loved being on the ground floor too.

The only thing that could be better is to have more options on the menu in the restaurant.

Modern luxury in a convenient location on the edge of Portree, 5 minute walk to the town centre shops, pubs, restaurants and sights. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was on the top floor the old house, with great views of the port and the mountains. The room was modern, comfortable, practical with large bed, table and chairs, sitting chair, nice touches like pod coffee machine, snacks, nice toiletries, hairdryer. Great breakfast menu, worth booking the breakfast included rate. Restaurant serves steak in the evening, worth booking for one night. Hotel has free parking. Helpful advice with maps, taxi booking, restaurant booking. Laundry service available via a local 3rd party. Thoroughly recommend

Not all rooms have bath, so specify whether you want bath or shower when you book. Full length mirror in the bedroom for hair drying would be helpful.

for £229 a night I would expect a decent sized room and breakfast (breakfast was an extra £30 a day). the room was small and basic. no bedside cabinets, no fridge, small wardrobe, stains on the carpet and the curtains didn’t meet, marks on the wall and the en-suite needed an upgrade, the grouting on tiles in the shower needed a good clean. poor and not worth the price

Very peacefully, quiet and relaxing. Impressive view through the window. Close to centrum Portree. Delicious breakfasts, beautifully presented. The hotel staff is friendly and professional.

It's was very clean, beds are very confortable. Diner, wine and breakfast were very good. People who work there are very nice and professional. Location is central and we had a nice view of the garden/water. I would go back again. Room was big enough

Room was very good, big window with the garden view. Everything is new, some complementary snacks and water are available as well. Staff members are very friendly.

Pillows are very uncomfortable, felt like a stone:) Maybe you could request other ones but we checked in quite late. The restaurant kitchen is completely closed on Sundays and Mondays, we arrived and were not able to eat anything. But breakfast is available every day.

Beautiful rooms, kind staff and parking spots that come for free with the booking.

Breakfast needs to be booked the day before for a specific time that cannot me amended later on, which renders a vacation rather unpleasant. The price is really high for the overall experience.

Great breakfast! Receptionist was adorable. Beautiful room with a nice view on the garden. Bathroom was outstanding! (You don’t often see comments on bathrooms but here is a good one!) We had dinner at the inn right down the road, live music every Tuesday and Thursday!

Three wait staff for breakfast, one of them was somehow not the nicest person. Sorry if we had to ask you for something, thought it was your job… Good hotel but no charm! Where are the nice humans? A pity they’re so discrete…
